  1. you both have a EJ25 right? Odd everyone was so sure I would get this code that I went out and picked up spacers for the Oxygen sensors and I still never had a code to this day :-/
  2. bolts already broke off.. it's flush with the bracket.
  3. Hey TheLoyale I noticed when you took the stock headers off you took the cat off too.. haha.. I did not do that on mine however the bolt was so rusted it took me almost 30 min to cut it off (I only had a dremel back then) it sucked.. next time I cut something like under the car I'm going to have my goggles on.. metal shot all in my face. Nevertheless its good.. I have a rattle but the rattle is the cat and the center pipe as it's not bolted in because that bolt snapped. Since I had the car I snapped about 10 bolts already. I think I need a screw extractor?
  4. haha nice touch. Hey you know what's odd I have a MT but no cover over the crank sprocket like it says in the service manual.. I can't see the big deal over it is"?
  5. haha I had my pads lower then that when I had my impreza
  6. That's why I was wondering.. I used all new pulleys and sometimes they squeak at idle and sometimes not.. I don't know if I would really describe it as a squeak however.
  7. I'm just concerned on driving in large puddles I did the belt long time ago like around 199K
  8. I have to take my timing belt off again anyways since I never got to do the cam seals.. but now that I have air tools they are leaking like crazy... between the two cams and my oil separator plate I need to check my oil every 10 days.
  9. I figured water getting on the idler pulleys would be an issue.
  10. nope.. let me find a pic I had in photobucket... the one on the right is what I have on the car now And here is when I used to have bosh And I mean the Timing Cover
  11. ha felpro looks good, sucks yours hits the filter mine is close but never hits anything and no problems with Bosh or Purolator filters. you don't run a TB cover?
  12. 02' WRX springs have a taper at the top so I would need matching tophats for the rear I did run into a tread on NASIOC which listed when and what models can use what springs. Only thing I can't figure out if lowering springs will fit the KYB GR-2's I have
  13. Fedex arrived along with the parts. I guess they all come with replacement bolts which I guess is the warning for possible broken bolts.
  14. maybe I should slide mine up so the mat wont move around so much... mine someone must of had paint in the car and it spilled a little in the rear and I also noticed spills under the carpet when I pulled the whole carpet out of the car to steam clean.
  15. stupid question but what are those latches used for in the rear? I think mine has them too.
  16. Yeah just change the gear oil just make sure you get the right oil weight I can't remember what it is off the top of my head but your manual should have it.
  17. Shipment Dates Anticipated ship date Jun 4, 2010 Estimated delivery Jun 5, 2010 last time I ordered from tirerack was last year they finally opened a warehouse in my state but I'd have to pay sales tax on it. boo.... the funny thing is it's showing the weight as 1Lb so that must be wrong.. 2 struts and 2 ball joints. I wonder when the time comes what size I should change the front sway bar to.
  18. holy crap I ordered on Friday and the order will be here tomorrow 2nd time ordering from RockAuto love it!
  19. I will be upgrading from the stock struts to the KYB GR2's I will be lowering the car at the same time (Oh My!) I was going to do H&R springs but they are a little bit pricey. I was looking at these here http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Subaru-02-03-Impreza-WRX-M2-Coil-Lowering-Low-Springs-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem563cec40d7QQitemZ370389303511QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories
  20. only donut gasket I have is after 2nd cat to the center piple
  21. the magnaflow is just the muffler.. and not the piping that goes up to it.
  22. I plan on staying stock no HFC or anything like that everything from the cats and back are getting replaced sticking with the stock center pipe which I think is 2" or 2.5" I can't remember..the magnaflow I think is 4" tip for the 14829 model. I hope it fills up the bumper as nice.
