Drivers side roof....its a solid crome piece i don't see the screws thats the prob....would i have to attack if from under the headliner?

question: i want to replace that stupid antenna on my 93 leg wagon.... .....( iam thinking of replacing it with a stubby black antenna...) 1)the silver piece.(mast)..is that screwed on ? there's a rubber ring around it.....should i start by takin the rubber piece off first ? is there anybody out there that has removed this before?any info will help thanks, spark

yea the steel wool is a crazy idea...i think the warm weather has fried my brain ...........prob a 400 grit wet sand paper might do also......main thing is to get the wax and build up off the rails before painting.......spark:cool:

cool i got the rack off.....iam not sure what type of steel wool i should use or if i should use steel wool to prep the rack ?:-\

My stock luggage rack on the H2 is all scrapped up.....the marks left are white........now i know there's a lot of trim paint out there ,but i want a good flat black that won't peel ect anybody have any good advise on the type of rattle can paint i should use..? spark

question out there...... i was quoted $800.for new struts /shocks on my H2(93 leg wagon) is that to high? i have 241k on the H2 and its time for new ones...anybody local in seattle good with replacing them spark
