  1. Sounds like you had fun, I'm still mad I didn't get to play. I'm trying to be good and not wheelin any of the "daily drivers" and only the lifted Brat, but it doesn't look like the lifted wants to run. I figured the weber needs a rebuild. (It's been on since the end of July:mad: )
  2. I had some posted, but needed more room for other stuff in my gallery. I could see about getting them back up.
  3. And why do most of the usmb members have the site stickers on their rigs? And why do Jeep guys all have pirate stickers on their rigs? Cause thats what they support. I think it IS just you.
  4. I'm out. The Brat's not acting right and its making me real depressed. Looking at the amount of money I've put into this thing to STILL not have it run is stupid. I also remember having wheeled the Brat a grand total of 3 times this YEAR.
  5. yeah I might be able to swing something. The Brat is ALMOST going again, but I don't think its a fuel issue any more.

    Fuel Cell?

Anyone else (besides SubaruBrat) running a fuel cell? I was just wondering as to how to run lines and the such. Anyone have pics of installed cell? Also, how about Pro's/Cons on running a cell?
  7. It depends on what you want to do. If you want a lifted rig, you'd probably be better off getting an 82+ newer bodystyle Brat as it IS easier to lift. That's not to say it's impossible to lift an 81, but it's a bit more complicated. You MAY be able to find a cheap gen 2 brat, then you'd be able to keep both. (If room permits) Working on these cars isn't too bad, fabricating is a little tougher.
  8. We were gonna try this year. I've already talked to a few people about it. We'll start a thread a little later, but yeah out by Loyalton California is nice for trees, fun wheelin in the snow too. Who else would be up for it? Like said in the other post, no tree is NEEDED to come out and have fun.
  9. Ozified on the board. Or ozified.com;)
  10. I believe it does. If not, shocks from a 74 chevelle are what work. Just need to drill out the top holes a bit to get them to fit. You may want to get the best shocks available, from what I've heard from people running the chevelle shocks, it makes the rear end real soft, which bottoms out a bit.
  11. The whole thing? I have an 81 Brat thats been sitting for a few years now, it'll have the harness, can't guarantee its condition, but if you want it, I MAY be talked into pulling it for you.:-\
  12. An ea82T has been transplanted into a 79 by Garner I believe, try a search for his posts. Other than that an ea81T would bolt right in. It depends on how much work you want to do.
  13. And you had to pull the engine to fix it? What kind of line did you use? Aluminum hardline?
  14. Check here: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=24980
  15. Check the Ball Joints, swap the axles of bad, and any other maintanence you can think of.
  16. So I'm thinking of: http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=RCI%2D1160S&N=700+0&autoview=sku + http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=EDL%2D1791&N=700+0&autoview=sku + http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=SUM%2DPUMPKIT3&N=700+0&autoview=sku and http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=HLY%2D12%2D803&N=700+0&autoview=sku What do you guys think? See any problems or anything? I've never looked into anything like this before, and am unaware of any unforseen obstacles.
  17. Its hard working under a car in a bark driveway with wcss8 dirt falling in your eyes while holding a tape measure, pen, and paper.
  18. Anyone have the dimensions of a Brat's gas tank? LxWxH would be sweet. Anyone know what an empty tank weighs by chance? Thanks.
  19. Did ya get footage of me goin through? I haven't looked at the everyone thread yet maybe there?
  20. I think it is to a point. You always see people running those paddle tires in the sand, its more about width though. You want as much surface area as possible so you don't get bogged down.

    lift address

ozified.com and sjrlift.com are two I can think of.
  22. So would it be safe to run a 3/8" line form the tank to the carb? Instead of through the hard lines? And would it be possible to run a bigger fuel pump with a seperate fuel pressure regulator in between?
