  2. Welcome to the board!! I currently run a 95 Legacy Wagon. I have had a few soobs myself and have loved every one! Lots of great info here with very helpful people!
  3. Oh yeah, definately Twitch. Now that I know its the bearings the car isnt moving until I can go get the bearings. I'm not one to chance that happening. Made that mistake with a VW one time and the bearing actually welded itself to the spindle on the freeway. Not fun! Thanks again fellas for all of your help!
  4. Actually it does change when I go around corners at higher speeds. Its gets a little louder and makes more of a "wawawa" sound. It also seems to get louder when I am slowing down and shifting the weight to the front. So I'm guessing its wheel bearings then?
  5. Thanks guys for the info! Twitch, I will definately get it back up in the air and check the inner and outer bearings. Thanks also 777 for the info on the gear oil. Much appreciated!!
  6. I had a question on my 95 Legacy wagon. While the car is driving its seems like the from end is running louder than it should be. The best I can describe it is a mild sound of an airplane turbine from the front. I cant really describe it and thats driving me nuts. It just sounds like the front drivetrain is running louder than it should be. Its AWD and I did check the diff fluid level on the front and its on the L but I wouldnt think it would make that much extra noise from it being a little low. Maybe I'm wrong. I got the car in the air and everything is tight in the front end. Bearings are good with no play at all and the CV shafts were just replaced before I bought the car. Any ideas? I know I am going to get alot of crap for my skills on describing the sound but its the best I could do. It just sounds like it louder than it should be in the front diff. Any ideas or help would be great!! Also, what gear oil or lube should I use to replenish what its low on in the front diff??
  7. WHOA! Someone call a doctor! I'm about to have a heart attack! j/k lol WOOOOO HOOOOO!!!!!!

  13. I like what I am seeing! Its like everyone is saying, we all have our own style and ways that we do things. If we all liked the same things and drove the same way, this addiction of ours would be boring as hell!
  14. Yeah, after that little scare I dont think its going to get washed again for a LONG time. Next time I will make sure I do like they say, just cover all of the electrics and plug wells. Even then, I dont know if I will wash it. lol
  15. LMAO!! Guess what?! The plugs were swimming!!!!!! Woo Hoo!! Back in business!! Thanks again USMB!!! You guys kick a$$! I know its something simple but I instantly thought that since I had just bought the car, that the little punk didnt tell me about something. But nope, just ALOT of water in the plug wells!! Thanks fellas!!!!
  16. All right, I went out and unplugged the coil and no water. I went ahead and just put my super fan on the motor to dry out whatever it may be hopefully. Anything else I could check on?
  17. Ok, so here it is in a nutshell. Decided to wash the Legacys motor yesterday. Soaked it for about 5-10 mins with the engine degreaser. Went back out and rinsed it off for about 2-3 mins. Went out today to take it for a drive and now its idling rough and wont go like its supposed to when I give it gas. It goes, but definately not like it should when its floored. Feels like its being held back. Check engine light is on but that was on when I bought it a few days ago and it was running great. Guy said it was possible the O2 censor and thats why the light was on. Like I said though, it was running great until I washed it. Any ideas????? Happened to anyone before??
  18. I'm hoping so. I need one and there is one for sale about 2 1/2 hours away. I would hate to make the drive and have it not fit.
  19. Nice find bro!! What a hell of a deal and you were able to run it! Enjoy!
  20. Looking good! Its a great thing when you can shave from the reflection of your headers!!
