That SJR kit I bought went in easy and works great. I am very happy with it.
-
Where can that box be bought?
-
4" EA82 ,every thing fit. All parts included. Answerd all questions.
-
I did my SJR 4" lift By myself with jack stands and a floor jack. Didn't have to remove the engine. I did take off the exhaust and driveline, also disconnect the shifting linkage and drain the radiator. I had to cut off about 1/2 inch of the bottom rad hose the top hose still fit with no mods. I did the rear first. Then the front.

Thanks for the reply. It was an easy fix. I needed a ground to the body I only had a ground to the engine.

My 86 subi is running great. For a while as I drive, the stereo would just shut off then come on. I thought it was bad I was going to take it back to best buy. Driving it at night I saw that the head lights were dim, my temp gauge was in the red, stereo was off and the volt meeter wa undr 8. When I pushed the clutch in to pull over every thing came to life. so I let off the clutch. dim. If i just rest my food on the clutch all works well. I looked at the cable and petal no wires are in the way. any ideas on the problem?

The cable has to be OVER the wheel - that won't work. Try it and you'll understand . GD This works great! This is what I mean about a backwards carb. On the other carbs have the lever on the other side. This one pulls twards the rear not the front.

Is this set up OK?
-
Nice, I was just about to ask if I could remove thoes tubes from the system. I don't have to get emissinons tested. What about this, I think It's a EGR valve Do these need to be caped? A shot of my accelerator mod.
-
Got it! Thanks
-
Loyale 2.7 could you draw that set up? The two tubes comming off the valve covers hook together with a T. the other two tubes hook together with another T. Then the two T ends hook together?
-
Will this carb preform as well as the weber, or should I get a true weber. My rig wont see any hard core off road. might see some going to the lake back roads.
-
I have carbs used for vws. I put a rejeted weber on the subi EA82. searching the forum The one I have looks like its backwards from what others have. The choke is facing the rear. It's in the car and works great. I just cant understand the PVC stuff for some reason. My car has 5 hoses. Can someone lead me in the right direction on how to hook it up? I'm just lost. This is the front of the engine. Tubes on driver side tubes on pass side

Thanks man, This is how it looked when I got it. This was as I was installing the 2" lift. It had the baby 13" spoked rims and low.
-
The paint job is bed liner and rustoleum camo spray bombs. I had 6 or 4 bolts left, No idea what they were for.
-
Finished the install. The ride is great! nothing was complicated. I used two floor jacks. On the shift linkage I cut a small block of 1" tube drilled two offset holes and bolted to where the plate was then bolted the plate to the block. I had to bend the Hi/lo lever a shot, so it wouldn't hit the console when not locked. I love it!!

Started the lift instal. Coverd all parts with Masterseries anti rust stuff. I thought for some reason the SJR lift centerd the rear wheel. Guess I'm wrong. The lift looks huge compared to the two inch it had. For now Just the rear, I'll start on the front. I was just a little freaked out cutting the pad on the passenger side next to the gas lines.

How rude of me. Thank you Scott for this offer!!!! You make great stuff.

My .02 I have a 2" lift on my wagon now with no body lift, just the hats and shock extention. It feels like it's about to blow it self appart. it has a very solid ride with quick spring back on bumps. Feels like it's floating on the road. I'm looking forward to the SJR 4" Just to see if the ride is any better.
