Got into the brakes, The pass side had some clips where the pads sliped into. The driver side didn't have any at all. (The pads on this side looked like they were seperating from the back metal part). I read some past post on brakes. Still confused. Do I need these clips or not?

Remote start, I thought they were recomended only on automatic cars with FI engines. What is the plan for the standard with carbed engine?

Those look good ! do they belong to anyone I know? Looking forward to getting mine back. With a litle lift. We have some yards here When it dries up I look for drums. Do you need hubs as well?

The why would be, I have three sitting in my shop. As hard as it was to find a subaru here I can't find an EJ with out driving 6 hours to get one. I love the carbed adaption on the EJ. I plan on lifting the body, So the top would be able to clear. I saw some cars use a transfer case I didn't find any pics of one mounted. can someone post one?

Has any one looked into adapting the ford 2.3 into a Subaru? I run one in One of my VW buggies love it.

Mike from Amarillo Texas. looking for a subi for about 2 years. I was building a VW ghia baja. Then saw a lifted wagon I was hooked. sold the VW. Found a wagon down the street for $500.00 runs great. looking to do a lift and go fishing. However still love the VWS. So hello to all. Mike
