Hey Remember my 83 Coupe?
Connie, do you have a pic of what the bumper looks like? I hit alot of off the beaten path wrecking yards when I travel for work, I could be another set of eyes. Mark

pug lug alternatives
I didnt want to bury this in the official thread, but im curious if any of you guys have had success in sourcing alternative lug nuts and or adapters, found vw uses 60 degree adapter, and there are several 60 degree lugs out there...im trying to use a set of 505 pug turbo alloys and want to avoid rust and or plating color issues.. thanks

my dealings so far to date I wouldnt have been able to tell ej from xt6 parts, and assumed I had ej knuckles...and I couldnt figure out why someone would have to jury rig the hub. I think GD nailed it, I have all xt6 stuff from the control arms out and someone adapted an ej hub to fit.....kinda

Thanks for the info GD, having the xt6 calipers, I must have the xt6 knuckles also as I believe Legacy calipers have the p/b hook up on the rear calipers...it all makes sense now...except the way they made the Legacy hub work

I recently purchased xt6 brake assys from a car that had been converted. Rear is all good, but I ran into some weird parts on the front upon disassembly. I have the xt6 calipers set up for the park brakes, but 2 different hubs were found and the xt6 hub has spacer washers on the wheel studs and bearing shims to space it away from the hub to mimic the other hub, heres some pics..can anyone identify the mystery hub? xt6 on the left... ??? on the right note that the hub on the right has screw prep, and both rotors are prepped for flat head machine screws to hold or locate rotors to hubs. any guesses on what happened here and what parts were combined? Thanks, Mark

XT6 axle nut size
I ran across two different front hubs today, one looked new and had a flat surface with no screw prep for the rotor and had spacer washers between the hub and rotor, what do I have...different production year parts? Rotors are identical.

Nice! even if traced. Good times im sure with your son, my sons first 6 years were spent just east of you in Ravensdale, I couldnt wait to get home from work and hang with him. Used to bundle him up and take him walking thru our woods shortly after we first brought him home and continued until we was walking on his own. Hes definately an active outside 13 yr old now, and the good times continue:)

Misfire? I'm stranded in Kent!
I lived in Kent years ago, there are at least 3 wrecking yards on the east side of hwy 167 just south of downtown, should have some luck there.
