  1. ok ladies, that's enough. let's not get this moved to off-topic. this site's about cars not politics.
  2. and yes, i concur. they'll snag all sorts of stuff. another stupid invention making tons of cash.
  3. yeah, i got a kick out of that statement too. i though it was funny what i had a glasspack sitting in my living room. the wife wouldn't loved swampers.
  4. now we're gettin' somewhere.
  5. and steam WILL come out after removing the oil cap if the car has been on the road for a while.
  6. smartass. if there's oil in the engine then the pressure will read ok and the light will not come on. but if the oil is too low a ticking sound will occur even though nothing on the dash is telling you there's a problem.
  7. you gotta let me in on that brush guard. where'd you get it? what'd you do to it? how'd you mount it? how can i get one?
  8. that's the most comparable description i've heard yet.
  9. i hate you. my legacy gets crap gas mileage, it smokes, the RF fender's chipped, the roof's dinged and scratched from a canoe, and the RR 1/4 panel is rusting with the quickness... i hate you.
  10. After starting my car cold, my friends at work tell me that i'm blowing a bit of white smoke while backing up out of the parking space and leaving the lot. It's not like plumes and clouds of death or anything, just a bit of whiteness coming out of the exhaust and dissapaiting before i can see it in the rearview mirror. I had my friend drive my car under the same conditions in which is smokes so that i could see this for myself, i can assure you, it's not water vapor. Stats on the car: 108,000 miles - 1996 EJ22 - w/Glasspack - 5w30 oil from the garage well any ideas? my mechanic buddy says that i pound on it too much and it's probably the heads....i hope not
  11. . Kelly tires are made by Good Year. They're ok but no the greatest. if you were looking into a Good Year product i'd go with the Ultra Grip or Ultra Grip Ice. or a dunlop snow. GY makes dunlop too. i;d get either a GY or Dunlop before a kelly
  12. you didn't read the whole article. it said that Fuji will continue to work with GM on the 92X.
  13. rubs on hard turns yeah stock aside from Hellas and cherry bomb removed intake silencer, cherry bomb, OB struts, 205/75R15 firestone wildernesses, 2 hella 500's and i'm wrking on taking a 3rd brakelight housing from a ford tauras and making it a hood scoop
  14. it makes sense to me to think that cops would buy the best of the best to have the upper hand on criminals and speeders. The vast mijorityof cops use Goodyear RS-A Pluses as all seasons and Goodyear Ultra Grip Ices for snows. Pricey but incredible.
