  1. I'm looking at getting some upgrades, but i have an EJ22 and there's not a whole lot out there for it. are EJ22 upgrade parts interchangeable with EJ25 parts?
  2. been there - done that. all it lists is air filters and underdrive pulleys. i need to look for universal stuff.
  3. a college savings can't be started with a Summit Gift Card
  4. where am i gonna get the other 120 bucks?! i've got a baby boy at home now....money's tight - thats where gift crtificates come in
  5. So, i got a $100 gift card to Summit Racing Equiptment. So far i bought a 18" glass pack muffler, i can't wait to get it! That was only 20 bucks...what else should i get?

  8. has anyone fit 215/75r15 tires on a second gen legacy? i know for sure that they won't fit with the stop struts, but i put in the outback one's so i think i have a chance. anyone....anyone?
  9. well...i didn't exactly have to wait long...like 3 days. BUT I GOT EM! i got a set of 2 Hella 500 6" round Auxilary driving lights for my 96 legacy! now i'm going to minekie to get some exhaust pipe bent and welded for a brush guard. if only i could afford a mudrat bumper..
  10. sweet i was always wondering what would happen if you took the svx 3.3, put it in MY legacy and added a turbo... that'd be sweet too.
  11. the way that our factory warrenty works at goodyear is that the tires are covered to meet the mileage warrenty from the factory. if they wear EVENLY (good alignment), havn't been burned off, or have a workmanship or factory defect the tires will be prorated based on mileage warrenty vs. tread depth. Get it? you can also buy the road hazard which is 10% of the cost of the tire which covers the tire for the first 60% (i think) of the tires life for any fatal hazards such as a blowout, large nail in the side wall etc. Get me?
  12. because there's less surface area on the road the rubber will wear quicker, being that a smaller amount is support the weight of the vehicle. if you have the V in the front, then obviously you're going to have outer edge wear and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. i don't know much about 80's subarus but i do know that if it can be adjusted, the problem most likely won't be able to be completely fixed if it's that visible. the adjustments have limitations. also, you may not be able to take it to any old repair shop for a front end alignment because they won't have the specs for it. They'll have the specs for the car, but not for the modifications, which make the specs of your car meaningless. you're on your own. good luck
  13. no. you dont see jetta diesels that look like prezles on the side of the road do you? just because it's diesel doen't mean its an 18 wheeler
  14. My fiance just asked me how long I think that my car will last me. here's the specs: 1996 Legacy LS ej22 No major drivetrain problems 105000 miles no body rust runs well, but a little sluggish from starts. so, my guess is 6 years. What do you all think?
  15. i hit it going northbound on I-279 on the straightaway right before the I-279 and I-79 merge. Perhaps you know where it is.
  16. 120 downhill with a strong wind to my back once.
