  4. i have a canopy for my 81 brat but it doesnt seem to fit well. whats the difference between the gen 2 and gen 1 brat canopies. is it so big of a difference that it wont fit what so ever, or is it minor differences. thanks

  6. gotcha. . . well thanks. idk if iim gonna put it on or not. im undecided
  7. ook so i bought i brat and there is a holly carb and adapter plate for it. not installed yet, my question is how good is a holly carb, im askin because all i ever hear about on a sube is either a weber or a hitachi. i mean i know holly is a good brand but does it match with weber?
  8. yes any shop should be able to handle a simple exhaust leek, especially if its just he gasket going out. their really easy to do. takes about 10 minutes
  9. does your motor have the starter on the top or off to the side? if its on the top its not able to be changed over to dual range, i ran into that problem with my 79 brat
  10. i would check all of your grounds
  11. honestly pricing has to do with mainly material. material cost for me for me is around 6.00 and as for labor it would depend on the bumper design you want, because some bumpers take a very long time, in which case i wouldnt charge hourly, i would find a happy medium, and its all tig welded not wire feed so it would be stronger, if you have a particular design send me a picture. other wise i could do one like what i built for my brat steven
  12. s10 bumpers can work but they have to be modified, they are wider then a sube, and usually the fronts are a different angle. if you find a design you like i can usually copy it and change what needs to be changed. and deer island is in oregon, but im able to ship anywhere in the u.s.
  13. i can possibly start doing bumpers, in either stainless steel or mild steel .140 wall or .119 wall.
  14. my 1979 brat hat a knock in it. it sounds like the rods. so when i go in to check things out i wanna adjust the lifters too. so can any one help with what the specs are?
  15. my 1979 brat is have a knock in it. im pretty sure its a rod knock. but when i take the valve covers off im gonna adjust the valves while im at it. can any one give me a quick rundown on what the specs are suppose to be?
