Sorry to necro this thread up, Im trying to lower a 79 wagon but the rear torsion bars are nothing like i have ever seen before, is it a matter or winding up/down to lower/raise, if so is there any guidelines or walkthrus to this? I have lowered several other models with torsion bars (mainly utes) but im not sure on how this setup in the rear works, Any help would be apprecieated. thanks

  6. how far did you drive it before you couldnt get past 2nd gear, if you were going down the road after just buying it why did you not take it staight back? or was this some weeks later? If the clutch wasnt worn why did they pay for it, maybe they think your trying it on after paying for a clutch that wasnt needed?

  10. I'm looking at doing these to a 5 stud set i have, but am struggling to find a way of getting the center, other than paying someone to put it in a lathe and scribing a line.... any ideas? sorry bit of a thread jack!

Howdy guys, I'm after all the main torque settings for an ea71 or a rebuild guide of some sort, i have done a search on here and in Google, but no luck, does anyone have this info handy or know where i can acquire it from.   17. heya dirk, im about to do the same thing for my EA71 in Dunedin, am pulling it tonight, I am after a solid motor, just built to factory specs, im doing this all myself (except machining) I'd be keen to discuss where you are locating rebuild part from.
