  1. Are you going to update http://www.westcoastsubarushow.com so I can read about all I missed? I spent the weekend playing video games and doing laundry.
  2. I will not be attending this year. I had hoped to win some sort of Longest Distance Traveled award by timing a business trip into Seattle that week, but my boss has decided otherwise.
  3. Some damn fine pics there Art. Nice work!
  4. A few choice morsels from my picture gallery... (higher res available upon request)
  5. Seconding his request, but of this photo: I'm not a good photographer, so it's rare that I find good shots of my car.
  6. On our way home, Qman arranged to have the non-subie in our caravan drive ahead and get off at an overpass to take pics of us on the freeway. I saw them on his camera, and they're pretty cool (a line of ~ 10-15 Subarus on the freeway).
  7. I wonder if I should pick up one of those handheld radios or handheld CBs. I liked the caravan 2 years ago when we used those to chat.
  8. Look at the license plate to determine if a vehicle is a "car" or a "truck" (in WA state at least). A "car" has a license plate in the format of ###-XXX (3 numbers followed by 3 letters) while a truck is #####-X (5 numbers, 1 letter). I think the truck format has changed, but since I don't own a truck, I'm not positive on that. The point still stands though, you can determine what the vehicle is legally considered by looking at the license plate.
  9. Heh, my girlfriend needs one from a 90-91. Damn things are only held on by a little plastic tab. Her fender is a little crumpled, so the tab doesn't have enough strength to hold it on and she's already lost 2.
  10. I was going to say that too. IIRC, the whine modulated a little when you tried to turn the wheel in the driveway. Not enough to be sure, but I remember thinking to myself that it was the Power Steering causing that noise.
  11. Does the new exhaust stay at a respectable volume or does it still sound like a freight train?
  12. I think there's plans to put Dubs on it. Spinners, anyone?
  13. "Hmm, what's this setting do?" (car dies) "D'oh!"
  14. Get off our message board! Damn bmw drivers, go back to Bellevue!
  15. You only bought it 2 years ago? I swear it was parked in my backyard 2 years ago.
  16. I liked #3 because I didn't buy any of the previous ones. 1 of 2 votes. :-( Oh well, someone else voted for it too!
  17. Hey Zap (or Qman), I was sittin around thinking, and I realized one thing that might go over really well at WCSS. Have you looked into getting an Audio vendor? (like a local car stereo shop or something) Old School and New School alike all enjoy dropping tons of money on stereo equipment. I think it'd be a really beneficial addition to the show. I go to import shows and I see booths set up with lots of stereo equipment for sale... something along those lines. Let me know what your thoughts are on this. If you want, I could start calling some shops, but this is your party, so I want to hear from you guys first.
  18. Were you not going to invite me, Noah?
  19. I think that means I should get a free one, since Noah is about to owe me $10
  20. The biggest suggestion i can think of... when announcing the winner of a class (any class), summarize what his or her car looked like. It was frustrating the last couple years... I'd be rooting for a specific car to win in its class, but it didnt win. When they announced who DID win, it was some person I'd never met before, so I had no idea what car actually won.
  21. I think you should get a lawyer to look into that for you Say the gas caused the crack in the windshield while you're at it!
