  1. That is awesome!! a very sensible article too!
  2. the offset should still be 53mm for WRX wheels, outbacks have a 48mm offset . I put '03 WRX wheels on my '03 outback no problem.....although the stance will be narrower than wider.
  3. I'm in Tigard, Oregon (just South of Portland)and being a mechanic by trade, I can fix anything, anywhere, anytime!!! My outback wagon can go just about anywhere in all conditions too! My cell #503-three-one- four-seven-five-three-five. I can travel pretty far if needed.

  8. I decided to give my recently lifted outback to some serious test on a nasty orv trail at WCSS7. I cleaned every section of nasty technical trail on 3 wheels between two trees with inches to spare and not a dent or scratch! alot of brushing through scotch broom but I survived without any major scratches! I had a blast! I know some folks took pics of the action hopefully they will post them here!

  11. I'm there about 1:00AM as well....I was wondering too! Well we can meet up some where in Shelton and have a brew! or down the road a few. I know the area somewhat after being up there for the dryad quest rally races a month ago.
  12. why would you jeopardize your safety!!! It's there for anti-roll. I'm a mechanic and would never run a vehicle without one!
  13. Yup , I daily drive but not far , bout 9miles a day , but on the weekend 100-300plus wahoo!
  14. Always be prepared! travel in packs! Leave someone behind to guard the car! You had three there! Doh ! that really sux about being looted! Tire irons for them Looters! Kewl wheelin shots!
  15. Rallitek.com has a nice rallybar setup that may work , otherwise contact Mudrat and get a Mudrat bumper or a custom light bar made....

  18. I have an '03 outback with a Thule rack/fairing not much in mileage change worth noting....but windnoise is gone!
  19. I have the proper tool! It's a "cooling system vacuum venturi" I got it from Matco tools ...Since I'm a mechanic it was a worthwhile investment . I was done changing coolant in about 3min. It's a very nice tool and you can check leaks as well with it .No air to purge period ! I will find a pic and post.
  20. ok here's a couple of shots I took of the Rallitek baja and my outback with the Mudrat bumper (taken at the rally-X season opener). A mudrat is the bomb! I've pulled a few large trees out ofthe road and small boulders too.....I feel sorry for the old man in his nice volvo who ran into my Mudrat in a parking lot ....I was in the car parked! Volvos just aren't that tough anymore.....LOL!!
