true on the ej22t thought...... even with a ton of miles on them everyone wants a mint for them..... that site is definitly a thought....and gd your probably right.....in fact im 99% sure your right but ive heard of people on other forums who are running up to 13 lbs boost on stock ej22e block with engine managment and bigger injecters/fuel pump, and rising rate fpr.....

thank you as you probably know the only reason i want to know this is cuz i plan on turbo-ing my ej22 next summer but want to read up on every possibility before doing so - so i dont blow my nice clean well running engine up lol i only want 5 psi boost on either a vr11 or td04. ill have to make a wastegate for it ( well not make but buy and modify) small volume turbo with 5 psi.

i have an aftermarket eq that i havent hooked up yet..... i listen to all kinds of music. i love rock and (rap) lol im tryin to make a bass competition vehicle that has some pep also so its been kinda hard..... also have a crossover if anyone is interested lol i dont want it.... i know it works but anyways! not tryin to thread jack. go to amazon.com they have some decent car audio for cheap. im not a big fan of lanzar audio BUT its really cheap and itll do the job if not tryin to be loud. they always will say 1000 watts and such but only do like 250 lol so theres an option. power acoustic has cheap speakers and tweeters BUT if you do buy tweeters and mount them to your door (above your legs) READ REVIEWS and dont buy cheapo's they will sound bad and they blow VERY easy. my 2 cents -
this is probably stupid lol but i was wondering bout the open deck blocks....all those open channels....does any fluids pass through those? and if not what if you were to completely fill those in with like jb weld to make a close deck block....would that work? lmao just a thought and idk what made me think this but it would be funny if someone did this and it worked. thoughts anyone?

thats a nice lil setup loyal 2.7 turbo! i have a 95 lego wagon and its 6.5 all around. pioneer 3 ways up front, rf 3 ways in back and stock o.b. tweeters powered by 500w amp , sony xplod headunit and 1 power acoustik mofo 122x in the back in a ported box @ 1000w (sony amp) it does very well it rattles a lil bit when loud but other than that sounds great! recomend putting a small amp on door speakers! you can tell the difference night and day! -
my buddy wants me to go look at a 2003 forester that needs an engine for $500 also there is a 95 lego 2.2 sittin at my work with 175000 for cheap and it ran well. will this be a direct bolt on? will the computer run it well enough to last him a few years? and what should i look for on foresters to make sure it doesnt have any problems? anything model specific? i know to look for rust and other mechanical issues but ive never owned a forester so i thought id ask.

my thoughts: i had/have the same issue. i put in aftermarket headunit (yes i cut n spliced) BUT i left the illumination wire alone (cut and taped up) i now have no dashlights, or heater control lights or gear select lights. i think me and you have the same problem and i know it has something to do with that damn illumination wire....just i dont know whether it has to be grounded or hooked up with another wire to work. for now i use autozone cig lighter plug in lights....good ol cheapos are getting me through this lol

holy S*** batman! lmao 2.49 a gallon? i pay over a dollar more a gallon for 87.......it costs 3.65 a gallon and thats at the cheapo stations.... shell cost 3.74 for 87..... diesel is pretty much 4 dollars as well as kerosene. lucky! oh and my car doesnt like gas additives..... i BURN through gas with additives....like f.i. cleaner or gas antifreeze or octane booster lol

i have a 95 legacy with an ej22 an the gas mileage isnt great.....maybe 20-23 mpg on highway.... only 113000 miles on her too..... not much you can do....i added a cone airfilter and it improved a little edit: maybe i didnt give enough credit to my poor soob lmao..... i average bout 250 miles a tank and its a 10 gallon tank i believe. everytime ive filled er up when on E i put in bout 9.5 gallons and its FULL. tryed topping off one time....got gas everywhere.

Anyone want to get a FREE VIN check?
95legwagon replied to Idasho's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
thats possible....i was thinkn maybe they put a new engine in it cuz it was definitly a front end collision and never 0'ed up the mileage on it? so the engine has 16000 less miles than the body and tranny? i dunno lol but i can say it runs like a top and drives great and for $1k cant beat it for only 113000 miles now. i say epic win. -

WOW did it work! my leg wagon was totalled out in 96 then fixed and brought back to life.... all happened in NY.... i NEW it looked a lil funny in the front but idk why its talking about the odometer exceeding mechanical limits...all the miles add up.... maybe its a brand new engine n tranny? anybody have any info? -
yes the two wire ej alts have s & L s= sense (12v +) Which is the thickest wire, and L which is the charging lamp on the gauge cluster. i swapped a 2005 impreza alt into my 95 leg wagon and had to go through this. i had the same wires as is in the pic. just splice and go
