  1. This is the bolt that it was hitting on. This is with the washers installed.
  2. Pat holmes.... maybe after the meet we can hook it back over to my place and get your axles changed... I actually need to front that I hope to get at PNS so we can have an axle event in my drive.... Its really easy provided you have the right tools which I do. So who all is coming for the second meet of the month? Me and blownbimer(noss) figure we can hit PNS, Action and western yards. I'd like to get a fairly early jump like leaving here 9amis, get to pns at 9:30ish..... I say we all meet at my house and go from there... what do you all think? Should we meet somewhere else? My house is easy to get to and right next to I-36.... but if theres somewhere else we can hang for people thats very percise, I'm open to it..... just 3 days to decide.... also whos all coming? I'll pimp the wagon so I know Noss, and probably Rick will ride along, but theres another seat if someone want to ride along.
  3. Damn. I work saturady other wise I might risk my pretty wagon on some mostly muddin...... ... well I work.. and dont have front axles.... guess I'm out.
  4. ok... I'm the mystery man. I'll state my case since we all think I'm nuts. Basically it goes like this: The spedo only "sees" RPM of the output of the tranny... so with stock tires lets say the car thinks that 1 axle rpm= 3 feet. the tire rolls once circumfrence stays the same, 1 rpm of the tire=3 feet.... Now 1 rpm of the tire = 5 feet.... spedo still sees rpms only so it still thinks that the cars only going 3 feet... but its really goin 5... the tires never change.. no matter how fast you spin them the error should remain the same. RPM x cir of the tire=MPH.
  5. kewl thanks. I plan to use the single port heads and SPFI when I turbo it... it just needs some kick.... tired of being beat by honda oddesys
  6. Rick.... your such a dork. Best meet pic so far:
  7. How bout Sunday? I wanna go Sunday and get some axles.... That is if Noss wants to buy my tires still.... then I'll have moneys fer de axles...
  8. Ok. I have a carbbed 87 wagon... I've SPFI'd it and lifted it with large tires. Now it needs some more high end uumph as the 65-75 MPH top speed doesnt cut it specially on them larger hills. What I'd like to do is Turbo it with some happy stock levels of boost. I have the turbo parts like th manifold and such and was wondering the issues that I might face as I do this. Coolant I'll steal from the heater core lines, oil... I'm not sure where from yet, then I'll get a boost gauge and AF gauge.... Question. Am I going to have to change the engine crossmember? I have the turbo one, but just wondering if I have to change it. Also, how is stock boost controlled? I'm not worried about fueling issues due to it being low compression and a mile high. Any thoughts? Thanks
  9. I'm gonna show up and agree. I have a AT computer in my MT wagon... I didnt do a CEL, but it works fine, just ignore anything kickdown relay related.
  10. Hey DrK.... Since you ditched out on the meet, we gotta go get some pice of my wag and your sedan togather.... I'm intrested in taking a look on how well your lift went and the pug/tire combo you have Vs my AA stuff and wally land tires. Also seems like a good photo op. ...and we should go find some place to thrash them:brow: Richo can come too.
  11. Hi! Welcome. I'm more an old school guy so you'll probably never see me, but I figured I'd say Hi
  12. Drkrazy.. I donno.. too tired. If anyone has a 5/16 24 left handed tap that they could bring..... that'd be great.
  13. I'm bringing a ton of parts but not my EJ22T unless someone really wants me too... its too heavy just to move about plus I'm sure I've got it sold.....
  14. Not sure.. but any chips or soda or general picknick food would be welcome.
  15. way to kill the thread noss:-p
  16. hey.. me and BB are leaving broomfield (287 & merimonte) headed for lakewood at 9ish if anyone wants to caravan..... We also need plates.... is anyone bringing anything at all? Who all is coming? What are you crusing? I'll be pimping my freshly lifted wagon.... full of parts
  17. I like how it looks like you painted it while it was on the car
  18. What about the turbo Loyale? Thats rare.... Turbo BRAT? How bout the 87.5 FT4wd Turbo XT... or any 87.5 turbo xt for that matter...... Rxes are fairly common compaired to that......
  19. Any pics of the skid plates? What do they work on? Stock cars? lifted? I'm looking for something huge for my ea82 lifted wagon
  20. My wagons pimp huh? Didja get a look at the front? Its mad! Dinos is good eats... although I usually have stomach issues but I still like it.
  21. I'm ^^^ her BF..... KBD. I have a few rus, but easily reconized... a bright yellow lowered XT6 and a huge lifted black wagon running 29" tires.... Welcome to the state of confusion!
  22. Not to kill Ricks sales but..... Dont waste your time with the haynes/chiltons... they are crap. Get factory service manuals... with the money if you wanna keep your car.
  23. LOL..... I was thnking of doing that!
  24. I'd like to agree with shady on this one, but I had a mt so it MIGHT be different. On my car the bolt that was innermost on the tranny mount... the bolt that went through the mounting plate, and the tranny mount was, indeed, longer then the other tow bolts. I would assume that the 3at would still have a rubber mounted tranny crossmember.
