  1. Grinding noise would be from the engine and tranny not being in alignment. Not sure what he would be hearing in the suspension.
  2. DB aka pitch stopper. Goes from the firewall to the engine. $8 at PnP.
  3. After reading this thread I cleaned both my MAF and TB because I had nothing better to do. Now I have the same issue!! Idles at 1500 but comes down to 600 if I pull up on the pedal and occasionally bucks when driving. Looked up the TPS calibration. Here's what I found. http://www.main.experiencetherave.com/subaru_manual_scans/FSM_Scans/TPS_testing1.jpg http://www.main.experiencetherave.com/subaru_manual_scans/FSM_Scans/TPS_testing2.jpg http://www.main.experiencetherave.com/subaru_manual_scans/FSM_Scans/TPS_testing3.jpg
  4. Did you swap the dog bone with one from an Outback? You might have enough adjustment in the one you have. Just loosen it up and it should fall into place. Let me know if you guys need help. I can stop by on my way home or meet up sometime on the weekend.
  5. split, Make sure you put your lift order # in this thread...http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=130798 LL
  6. Is it finished yet? What did you guys end up doing for the radiator hoses?
  7. Use the Outback springs and struts. With the lift kit you won't have to redrill anything. You will be able to run a 215 with no fender rub with the lift kit as well. Install the kit prior to purchasing new tires because you maybe able to go bigger. I run 215/75/15 with just Outback struts and springs. The only rub I get is on the inside of my wheel wells during tight turns.
  8. Video? Anxious to hear what they sound like.
  9. Order # 132 and #135. That should make at least 5. Scott, Can you send me a PM with the total? No shipping...local pickup. Also...is there a CASH discount? Thanks, Kevin
  10. Thanks...gives me some ideas for exhaust routing after I install the lift kit.
  11. Have any pics from under the car? Curious to see how you routed it.
  12. Is it finished yet? I want to see some pics!
  13. Just waiting on Scott. The lift won't be an issue but the D/R will take some time to put together. I was going to wait to find an OBS to put it all into but after talking to the Mrs. I think the OBS will have to wait for now. Most of the parts will transfer later so I'm I'll carry on with the Lego for now.
  14. The stall at the end cracked me up. The whole vid makes me want the D/R and a higher lift even more. Right now I can go just about anywhere but I have to be going fast. With a D/R I would be able to go slower and take less damage.
  15. 4" or 6" EJ lift kit for a '91 Legacy with OB struts... if the price is right. and an adapter plate.
  16. Yep. Need to switch sides. It will be much easier this time though.
  17. Makes sense now... if this plug is what you are talking about.
  18. I got it out but couldn't get the longer one in so I put out all back together for now.
  19. Tried that last night but it would slide up far enough. Also, sent you a PM yesterday RE: lift pricing...just an FYI.
  20. It will work. Throw in some strut spacers while your at it. It will save you from doing it twice.
  21. I've got a new longer steering shaft that I need to install after installing OB body spacers and 1" strut spacers. Is dropping the cross member the easiest way or am I missing something?
  22. I want one too but can't afford it at the moment. If you get one and need help putting it in let me know. I would love to see how it all goes together.
