Brat DIY Back Seat Wind Dam
doughildreth replied to bendecker's topic in Historic Subaru Forum: 50's thru 70's
My plan is to make an easy connection from summer airdam to winter topper, it should work well. I was very careful cutting it, and between the window frames and a slot on the roof it should connect nicely. -

I have the Jackman Rims ready, jackman front bumper and roll bar installed. Trying to figure out making, or locate a wind deflector. And locate 13" raised Letter tires. Not sure what the wires hanging out by the A in Brat on the wind screen. -

The Brat is dirty from oil coating from winter! It keeps the salt away!!!! Will clean off in a couple weeks when winter is over.

That one looks OK it probably needs a full restore. I would say $400-500 would be more fair. My first one looked about like that and I paid $200. The shell I got the other day for this project was FREE!!!! The guy found it in the dump 25 years ago cut in four pieces, he took it home Fiber-glassed it back together and put it in his barn rafters to fix up for his kids (never happened). He saw mine online and emailed me to see if I wanted his shell. After I get a drive-train done I'll start on the body.
