Hey I remember Bucky when I bought him 3 years ago..would have never though he would make it this long...now I am keeping my expectations low..going for 10K goals from now on..Oil change and tune up tomorrow. Oh! Can't resist this pic..me and my boy today in Long Island

Thanks to alittle OOPS detour on the way to the Collosium for the Islanders Game ( we won BTW 3-1 and my boy looks to be outta his slump)..on the way home it happened...sorry couldnt get the shot at the exact moment but in traffic at night was alittle too risky. My Bucky is all grown up now..also..187 miles to a hair over a quarter tank used:

We are taking Bucky to Long Island today to go to the Islanders Hockey game....its just so much cheaper taking him the Tommys truck..plus Buck is due for a road trip. He may be turning over the 200K mark on this trip..he has 220 more miles to go and its around a 100 mile each way trip:banana: . I just love this car!!Bringing the camera just in case..if its that close I will just keep driving him around the block until he turns over:brow:

Try going from your EA82 to your fiances Toyota truck...that thing has to be the worst...I think my old F350 tow trucks had better than Tommys Tacoma

WagonsOnly was telling me there is only something like 3 cars with a tighter turning radius..the Justy?,Geo Metro? and I forget what the third is or even if I am right on the other 2.. I think we only need somethign like 10 feet to turn around it....hey...if it means anything..Mazda Miata need more space then us...its great never to really have to look for a spot to do a 3 point turn..just Uie it in the street. Maybe those of us who may not have parts he needs can donate some $$ towards the cause...I know I would donate something. Like a Recovered Theft Fund...specially in a case like this ..it was missing for so long but hope was never given up. Just a thought

Paul...I know how to get most of the stink out..as long as there isnt any nests behind the dash or in the fan motor ( even then I can get it out)..My old 88 GL wagon came with the same odor...Laundry detergent,a scrub brush and a wet/dry vac..along with some pine-sol and a dry sunny day and I can get that smell out..no problem. You do remember..I used to own and run an automotive detail shop dont you?

Its only something like 60 miles to your place from here...give or take...we left from Rorys house which is about 12 miles from mine

I used to have an 86 Dodge Daytona Turbo Z...absolutely loved that car....got it for $150..I repoed it for a dealer in Fl..he didnt want to come up and get it cause it needed some work and just wanted it Repoed for the principle ( Guy bought it made 1 payment,left the state) Sucked in the snow,but wicked mean fast,looked great ( Black on black with black tinted windows,low profiles,and ground effects) Turbo went bad and I didnt want to spend the $1000 for a new one. Sometime I wish I had another.

I am sure I can host another meet and greet ..no problemo!

I had one of the door switched go bad on my Loyale...but if I manually pushed in the plunger it would work...so I just shimmed it with a washer ...and low and behold it worked..no more dingy dingy ( besides me) and no more door ajar light

So Paul...Why is it you are always driving my cars??? :lol: :lol: . I showed Bucky some love yesterday..took him to the new car wash..spent probably $10 in the self serve bay ( I dont trust anyone washing my cars)..blasted out the roof channels ( OMG..I found Hoffa's body in there),just used the spray wax for now..he gets the good hand ........massage:eek: ..later..got to dark...gots to remove his roof rack and see whats livin under there too..I believe he has a clogged drainage hole ..like Andrew thought...somewhere. As for the XT6..just want to get the exhaust fixed and maybe the floorpan work done ASAP..work on the rest slowly..I only plan on using it for the snow days and when Bucky needs to spend a few days with Rory and in the garage for much needed repairs....Will feel good having the third car around if something happens to Buck or Tommys truck ( which is also in desperate need for a trip to the garage) And maybe for the first time ....I will actually like to see snow:brow:
