Thanks for the heads up Rob..I'll keep my 16 yr. old by my side.
Kimberley (mine) Alyssa (her friend)
Not match.com...just got some good looking kids
That reminds me...I need to let her know where her mom was last weekend.....

Guess I need to work on myself before next year:confused:
Yes, there could be a next year. And its possible I wont be alone. My oldest said he might want to come. Huck, better keep an eye(s) on your girls..........I dont want any trouble from them;)
hehe....yeah....Sommer met her boyfriend at the Dragon 2005, and they're mow engaged....So it would be between Jessica, and Kelly....
-
Sounds REALLY high...as I said, I've replaced them before on a later EJ22, and they were about $20....but the older ones have a pigtail coming off them, with a connector on the end, the newer ones, the harness plugs right into the sensor....but basically the same thing....might be able to rewire the conector to use the newer one...
-
I'm betting a broke pass side timing belt...or maybe just jumped a tooth or 2
-
Not sure about on the 90, but the later model EJ cam, and crank sensor are only about $20 from Subaru..., so I'd probably just replace it....
But it only takes a few minutes to pull the outer 2 t-belt covers, but chances are good you'll have trouble with the bolts in them...try to give them a "Quick" twist when breaking them loose, if you just slowly try to break them loose, you'll most likely twist out the recessed nuts in the back half of the cover....
-
Definitely no need to pull the motor to do the timing belt.
and yes, it's easy to pull the two outer covers to check it out...
But sounds more like a failing Cam sensor or crank sensor to me...
-
I'm glad you made it home.....
Hopefully, with no issues.
And hope you make it back again next year!

so is that tranny for the SVX or for the XT6? Welcome back Jeff!
The One Jeff brought out here for me?
It's intended for the SVX, to put it back to AWD...the RWD is fun, but prefer the AWD before Winter:eek:

second
+3....
Me and my wife got married at a preachers house...just the Preacher, his wife, my Mother, and my oldest Daughter in attendence (plus Carol & I:grin: )

i really think the should be captioned, "only at a subaru meet"
Did you make it home already Jeff?
Get home with your front Tranny seal in-tact?

I may have a few suggestions for next year. When Austin gets XT6.net back up I'll post them up. Much of what I'll suggest will make the meet more "family friendly". It may also broaden it's appeal to more members.
I organized the 1st annual Pinto Car Club of America meet, and it was a smash hit among members. Being a "local" I can scout locations. I'd also be willing to make any/all reservations neccessary.
We'd be happy to have any help in the planning stages Paul....and maybe you'll have an Alcyone of your own by then:)

I dunno if anyone got Pics Of Jeffast's bargain basement SVX on the road. I DO know that Killboy got him up on The Dragon thursday. Here's a link to the proof. Personally I loved the way his SVX sounded. It's got a NASTY rasp to it's sound!

This page has Moodybluser, Huck369, Huckette, and Nick S. Note Huckette pushing Hucks Yellow SVX pretty hard.

Thanks for the link Paul....but Huckette is my oldest daughter, and she's riding shotgun in the Teal SVX behind my Yellow, SVX....my Wife was driving the yellow SVX:headbang:

Glad everyone is getting home safe...and thanks Paul for posting some pics up...hopefully will get mine up today sometime....wish you could have made the loop with us too.
This was the fist time we had more SVX's than XT's there...but had (I think) 10 states represented.

Made it home safe, and had a great time...pressed for time right now, but will try to post up some pics later...
Met lots of new friends, and wish it could have been a week long meet.
The Dragon was being heavily patroled on the TN side, so no great runs were done, but we had some pretty good runs on Hwy 28 (the Hellbender) and across the Cherahola Skyway <sp?>
Gotta catch up on a few post before I start work...later...

Hey Lazer,
I'm sure someone will chime in with some ideals....
All the Xters aer going to find their way over here before we get XT6.net back up and running....
-
Seems Huck & I are the only ones still at home. Today will be quiet for us XT6'ers.
I'll be leaving tomorrow around 1pm-ish. That'll put me at the crossroads of time around 3pm-ish. I already packed my bags & found a room in Robbinsville. I can't afford Fontana Village. Besides, staying in Robbinsville is appropriate, being as my last name is Robbins.
I can't wait to meet all the cool people.
Yep...I'm still home...
Jim called earlier, and is on his way down...plans to stop in KY for th enight, then meet up with our caravan in the morning to head on down...
So Mr. Robbins, maybe you should drive in through Fontana before you go to the Crossroads of time, as that's probably where the people that have arrived will be...
