  4. Sweet just what i was looking along with the photo!thanks. I dont already bend control arms i just thought it would be a great modifacation since i am going way bigger tires. It wont affect the way i drive . I agree with ubaroo that it would take way more force to bend the other parts of the car after reinforcing the control arm . I will try to get a picture up as soon as im done with the control arms . Thanks everyone
  5. Okay sweet thanks that as was my initial thought I just am more of a visual learner so I thought I'd see if anyone had a picture of one Bent so I could see were the week spot was or a beefed up so I could see
  6. Net Zero Tolerance. Yeah that makes a lot more sense than the bearing being smaller than the axle shaft cuz that would never work... If you're having a hard time getting the axle back through the bearing and you know it should fit tried directing it with a small screwdrivers something so the chef come straight through and its not at an angle
  7. And explain your self more i dont really understand you
  8. ........not the answer i was looking for. I am lifting my car more and am replacing the bushings in a extra set of controlarms i have i dont see why not to beef them up so i dont bend one off road . Does any one have some reak advice on what to do . I have a pretty good idea just eanted a image and maybe some first hand experience on how well they worked. Thanks
  9. Got my fenders cut today so the big tires will fit . Also instaled a ea 81 windsheild washer tank so i can get rid of the one in the passenger fender
  10. Yeah thanks again for the great deal they are gonna be sweet. Will do man
  11. Haha i ment i just got them drilled out by my good buddy patrick and ground down the backs and installed the wheel studs . Now they are ready ha
  12. How would the spindle ever going to the bearing if the spindles bigger in diameter than the bearing itself?
  13. I have heard of people reinforcing the front control arems on ea82 cars befor so i picked up another set si i can beef them up . I was just tring to find some photos of some that have been but u havent had any luck . If someone could post a picture or two of them i would really appreciate it.. Thanks
  14. I have bought a remaned axle through auto tone and the part that goes through the wheel bearing was actually larger than it was suposse to be and i ended up breaking the wheel bearing trying to make it fit . I wouldnt trust duralast but i know that was probably a one in a hundred axle they messed up on
  15. Got my wheels paunted and the tires mounted on them . They look pretty nice and are 235 75r15 so i will get way more lift with these on. Also just finished drilling out the front hubs so now im all ready to swap them
  16. It is definitely one of our both of your front axles like to do this about once or twice a month.
  17. So I went through a puddle this weekend and flooded the inside of my car so I decided to tear up the carpet spray truck bed liner it turned out pretty well it looks a lot better than just without the carpet
  18. I know i bought the steel yesterday should make some blocks tonight when i get done with the floors
  19. I haven't posted in awhile but I thought I'd update a few things. Installed matching blue WRX seats in my car and also got stock height King Springs since apparently they don't offer raised ones for a loyales . Installed some PIAA reverse lights also
  20. I made a post on the forum about this somewhere but I can't seem to find it. I didn't have to widen the crossmember hold it all I just used a quarter inch piece of flat stock i put it on the inside part of the engine mounts closest to the oil pan I will post a picture in a minute or two
  21. you should be able to use the legacy front hubs, brakes and springs and ball joints you just need to reem out the EA 82 control arms ball joint holes . Then you can use the EJ axles also . just need to split the tranny and change to the legacy stubs. or just use the legacy tranny
