Wow I didnt expect so much input but I guess I did. We ARE subaru people! Doesnt sound like getting photos is going to be too hard. Im actually now thinking of making two different calendars. One strickly for off road and then one for the really pretty older street soobs. Ive been looking at some calendar web sites and the cheepest Ive found is 15 dollars when you get 50 of them and its like 700 some odd dollars. Im going to keep looking for some other options. I want these to be quality glossy calendars and Im sure you guys do also. Tanks all for the input more is great!

edit: I will be making some. Whats your prefrence? I would like to have a picture party on the 16th of November to find the best 13 pictures possible. Has anyone ever made one? And would people buy them if I got one put together? It would just be the price I would have to pay to get it and shipping. Just an idea I had while looking at some other calendars from my music club. Im probably going to make one for myself anyway. Any thoughts or opinions?

I like the bedliner idea. I just took out my seats and put a box fan in the door for a couple nights. It still smells sometimes when its hot out.

I mangled my skidplate real good a reiter last time I was there. Dented the oil pan. When I make a front bumper Im going to incorperate a phaty skidplate. I only have a 1" spacer on the front though, which makes it closer to the oil pan.

Questions about spray paint
Subafly replied to Subafly's topic in Old Gen.: 80's GL/DL/XT/Loyales...
Thanks guys! -
Ive been thinking about painting some stripes on the Sube for a while but am not sure what to use. If I used spray paint could I just spray it on or would I have to sand it first then put some sort of coating on? I just dont know:cornfuzz:

That is a bit high for the milage it has. Always a good Idea to try and talk the price down a little. Thats way less than I payed for my 91!

ok so Ive had a subaru for a while now and I talked my mom into getting one too. Its a 95 Legacy outback with 171,000 on it. We have had it for a week and and now its not starting all the time. I got in and started it multiple times no problem. Mom says shes putting the clutch to the floor and it still wont start. So my question is what else would make it start just some of the time? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Brian

on a trip from marysville Washington down to ski bowl Oregon I tallied over 100 outbacks alone. about 50 foresters. 20 or so ea82 wagons 5 WRX's and 1 WRX sti:slobber: 1 gen 1brat and a few 80's wagons. It was a fun trip. I was pretty tied on the way back so I didnt count:-\

There are a few thing you can do to fix the shifter problem. 1. you can cut off the shifter and then weld on a diagonal extension. Downsde is if it breaks 2. what I did is i just never put in the consol plate that goes over the two levers, well I tried but had the same problem you do 3. If ther is enough room you can just cut the front edge of the console plate. Hope that helps. What color is yours?

just weld the crap out of it. lots cheaper:D

I went weeling last Sunday at Reiter pit. That morning I put in my new welded differential (it worked great). I metup with my too friends from school in monroe. One has a Grand Cherokee and the other a just a Cherokee. Anyway we got to reiter and I put in my axle no problem, so we hit the Hobit trail then the V-notch trail. We met one other cherokee before heading to the Index wall trail. Once we got to the mud pit on the wall trail Jake in the Cherokee with 4 inches of lift and 31's got seriously stuck. The full sized Chevy couldnt pull hin throug it so adventualy a jeep came buy with a winch and pulled him out backwards. The guy driveing the chevy couldnt back out the trail he was on so he decided to go through a smaller mud bog on the side and he got wedged between a log and a tree. They hooked up to his bumper and proceded to rip it off. It was kinda funny:drunk: Im pretty sure half of them were drunk. We continued down the trail only to get stopped behind a stuck 2WD ranger. After he was out of the way (my "friends"had already gone through), I some how found my way through the tough part only to be greeted by my friends comming back from the wall. Going back through I got a flat (turned out just to be a busted valve stem) and I didnt have a spare cuse I dont have one:banghead: It was like 6:30 then. To wrap thing up a little quicker I got a ride home grabbed two stock tires, drove back put one on made it out of the trail put the other one on and drove home, slept, woke up, went to less Schwab and got the stem replaced for free and there was no wait either. And that was my Sunday:D Hope you liked it Brian
