in theory i can see it working, espcially with a pin hole leak. The thing is pin hole HG leaks dont stay pin hole leaks very long. The other part i am suspisous of is the ceramic part (it syays that on the label). Ceramics are known for maintiaing thier dimensions in major temp deviations, where as a HG has to expnad and contract with the engine. Als the ones on the testimonial pages tend to be cast iron enigines or blocks. nipper

voltage readings can give a false reading, i was going to say start at the pressure switches with an ohm meter, but i was waiting to find out if he even had a meter. if the pressure switches are closed, he has an electrical problem. If they are open, he most likely is low on refridgerant. They switches do go bad, but its rare. nipper -
i was in the autoparts store today, and along with stop leak type products, i saw a headgasket stop leak product, "desighned especially as a last ditch repair" before sepnding 1000's of dollars. the label said it was some sort of ceramic and fiber solution. You needed to drain the cooling system and flush it. Remove the offending cylinders spark plug Pour this suff in. Run the car for 15 minutes. Let it cool. reinstall spark plug. Run Again, Let cool. Drain flush and fill with coolant. anyone heard of this? nipper

it doesn but it comes into play some place else. On the vanaroo list they had a bunch of engine failures with the shortened pan. People put in the shortened pan, but never replaced the reduced volume of oil. This loss of volume was resulting in spun bearings. You can do this with a remote oil filter and external oil cooler. Also an oil temp gauge is recomended, nipper
