just put an ECU from a parts car i just got yesterday i have spark now but it wont start may be bad gas

so can anyone tell me will the duty c solenoid out of a 97 work in the 91?

So does anyone else have any Ideas? This thing has me stumped

so i no this is a lot of work for a used part but can i put the duty C solenoid from the 97 in to are 91?

can you tell me more about swapping out the extension housing ? and yes do you have a blinking light on the dash at start up power light the car and trans have over 3030k on it i just put a new motor in it well 170k like new would like to fix the trans and see if she can go for another 300k

ya let me ree-right this one the other guys that i was talking to sad to check the power to the coil i did what they sad to do and i only get 7 volts with the + side un hooked key on i Touch the ground with one multi meter lead and another lead toughing the disconnected wire and only get 7 volts

it is acting like there is no power to the ECU the check engine light dont even come on with key in the on position the bulb is good i did put an ECU out of an 88 gl that i no is good in the 92 got that ECU to bleak but car would not start put the 92 ECU in the 88 it bleaked but no start this car has me stumped

so i just got back to working on this thing and still have no spark i did as you said to test the power to the coil and it has power + and ~ sides but it reads 7 volts that is not right RIGHT? i did notice i have No breaking right on the ecu at all is the ecu at bad?

or just rip out the AC who needs AC LOL and a 14mm gear wrench works the best o ya and pull your battery

so if i swapped the rear diff and the wiring connectors are the same or make them the some do you think it will work? 4.44 is that a better gear? my girlfriends car and i have had to reemoov the rear drive line because of its binding is so bad it feels like it was going to rip the car in half

I have a 1991 legacy 2.2L Automatic full time 4 wheel drive. and just found a 1997 Legacy GT 2.5L Automatic Transmission 4 wheel drive Would like to know if the transmission from the 2.5L would be capable in my 2,2L ie: wiring harness,gears, etc. Thank you in advance for your help.

thanks to you all i just blew a head gasket i think it was from not retorquing my bolts and running it a little to hard in this hot weather i just know its got to be fixed be for WCSS

would like to no win i go to retorque my head bolts is it best to back off the bolt and then retorque it or just retorque it
