  1. I'll attach some other photos I have that I took today to this reply. I can post a more detailed image for you next time. But its a perfect fit and just snap onto the headlight assembly. Its a 2 minute thing. Simple.
  2. I am in need of the rear tailgate 4WD decal for 93 Loyale. Anyone know where I can get one?
  3. Yeah I bet you're right. Tempted to just replace before spending too much time on other usual suspects. I just bought a cheapo reman unit on ebay ($30) before I spend the big bucks ($150+).
  4. Plugs and dist etc about a year old. I think same for filters. I know it could be a variety of things and will go down the path to fixing this but I was just thinking that its still MAF related because of how it resolves temporarily after cleaning so either it needs to be replaced, not just cleaned, or other issues that are mucking up the sensor. The throttle body had more oil than I expected but still might be normal amount.
  5. Thanks. Wade 72-82274 Smoke Tint Light Guard Headlight Cover
  6. Yeah it's specifically MAF cleaner.
  7. I bought a set of headlight guards to help avoid cracked headlights (i've had this happen twice in a year). I kept blowing bulbs because of water getting in. Apparently, I ordered "smoked" Wade guards by accident. Now that I have them, I think they look good and will keep them. Will prob get stronger bulbs now. At least they will be protected ;-)
  8. So a few weeks ago my 93 Loyale started running bad with hesitations and lack of power. Cleaning the MAF cured it for about a week. The weather turned cold here in NY again and I am noticing the symptoms have returned, but not as bad as before. Cleaned MAF again and it was better for most of the day but not a full fix. I'm going to continue looking into this but does this temp improvement when cleaning MAF point to anything? Thanks, sull
  9. No, I bought a set of 4x140/5x100 wheel adaptors that were made available here last year in a limited run. Been meaning to get everything mounted but still pending. It's my daily driver so its been hard to dedicate a few days to the project to make sure no issues (I do a lot of driving). A mockup I made...
  10. I just dealt with my own hesitation issue last week (92 Loyale wagon). I normally just use Lucas cleaner more agressively and it clears up after a tank or two. This time it needed more attention. I thought maybe I had a bad tank of gas because it started happening after a fill-up at a station I never go to and the pump was barely pumping (took like 20 minutes to fill). So thought I got some nasty stuff from the stations tank. Maybe that was the cause. Either way, I had not cleaned the MAF sensor in over a year so I sprayed that along with throttle body etc. Crossed my fingers that this was all I needed to do and so far that seems to be the case I also tossed in seafoam into a fresh tank of gas and changed oil. She is running great now. Added a few new decals to reward her Good luck with your issue, I will monitor this so I know what else to look for when I am not so lucky in future. O2 sensor etc.
  11. I'm interested if my XV Crosstrek wheels dont work out with my 2" lift.
  12. Is this an issue even with just a 2" body lift? Originally read not to worry about it: http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/topic/123999-boss-2-ea82-lift-kits-100/?p=1047827 thnx
  13. I had some setbacks and distractions since getting all the parts for a 2" lift with 5x100 adaptors and a set of crosstrek wheels/tires several months ago. Now it's time... my current tires are done and I found someone to help me out with it (most basic mechanics don't want to deal with these mods) since I have no tools or garage currently. I almost sold the wheels for something smaller. I'm not 100% sure they will work even with the 2" lift kit I have. This is mockup of what mine might look like. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/index.php?app=core&module=attach&section=attach&attach_rel_module=post&attach_id=11516
  14. I actually am finally about to install mine next week. Just bought the dorman studs.
  15. just bought a 2" lift kit on these forums so I have a set of crosstrek rims/tires, these adaptors and the lift kit.... now to dedicate a day to mounting it all. soon! the old mockup that got me started:
  16. I received mine in mail after paypal transfer. Look good. Hope to mount them soon. Thanks Matt!
  17. good to hear. thanks for the update.
  18. I went ahead and bought a set of XV OEM wheels and tires for a fair price. Don't know when i'll mount them since I still need to source parts or adaptors.... If they don't work out, i'm sure I can sell the wheels and get my money back.
  19. Curious what your cars look like with 17" rims and any details that you can share would be helpful.
  20. I'm looking to fit 5x100 XV rims on my Loyale (see crosstrek rims thread). Looking into the parts I will need.... including these adapters. If you are looking into it, thanks.
  21. Was looking at getting 4x140 to 5x100 adapters if all else involved is feasible, maybe with a 2" lift. Haven't done all my homework! Just entertaining the idea... Might end up with pugs or Toyota rims. Thanks for the info.
  22. still thinking on rims. can't get the idea of crosstrek rims on the Loyale out of my head. did a 5 minute photo mockup to give me a rough visual.... digg'n it. thoughts?
  23. seriously considering crosstrek rims with 5x100 adapters. this is if i decide to splurge on wheels. would love to see anyone's L with this setup. i should probably keep hunting for pugs on the cheap ;-)
  24. I'm interested in a set shipped to NY or CT. Any left?
