  1. This the one? I found it on cartalk.com. According to the article, subaru is meeting less stringent fuel economy standards using a loophole to classify some of their vehicles as trucks. Read it all ....here
  2. So do I http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7943396995&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT
  3. It's been done before. Check it out. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=24227&highlight=gm+alt%2A+swap http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=15473&highlight=alt%2A http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=5324&highlight=alt%2A
  4. Anybody got any miracle products or tips on cleaning the headliner of my '95 Legacy? Previous owner was a smoker and left brown stains on the headliner above the window. Thanks, Handtool
  5. I just replaced those bulbs last week. Used the radio shack bulbs. Clicky ------------> HERE Good luck, Handtool
  6. My guess is Yes. I just installed a 2004 WRX 6 disc changer into my '95 Legacy sedan. Plug and play. Looks like it came that way from the factory.
  7. I recently bought a aftermarket cd/mp3 player. The indash changer/mp3 combo isn't too common because you can fit many cd's on 1 mp3 disc. A portable mp3 player connected to an aux input on a indash changer may be other alternative if you don't find what your looking for. Good luck!
  8. Howdy, I just picked up a '95 Legacy Sedan. I'm new to the legacy and ej-22 and would like to know how to pull the codes. I'm guessing it's not OBDI or II. Is the dealer the only option? It's -8 in Chicago today but when I started it this morning the Temp guage came up to the half way mark immediatly. Bad sensor or something else? Are there any on line manuals that somebody can link me to? Thanks.
  9. I've searched but didn't find any concrete answer. So, will a stock 6 disc changer pulled from a '02-'04 WRX bolt and plug into a '95 Legacy sedan? I trying to avoid cutting and splicing the wiring harness. Thanks.
  10. Yup, classic signs your alternator is toast. Pull it and take it to shucks ect, and have them test it.
  11. Mike might be on to something there. When my alternator started going bad it was putting out more than 14 volts. It would heat up the headunit till it eventually would shutdown. After coolong for 3 to 4 minutes it would come back on. Check the output of your alternator if all your other wiring is good.
