  2. I beleive they started the AWD in the Legacy model line in late 1989-early 1990 and kept the pushbutton 4WD on the loyale until 1994.
  3. Do you mean to All Wheel Drive?
  4. I have the pass side towhook that is bent in causing a problem. Were these guards meant for the chrome bumpers?
  5. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/80s/pushbar/pushbar.html Yeah, the bar I have is down the bottom of that page on the blue brat from the 1983 brochure
  6. Hey..Just picked up an ea81 pushbar(not A style) and was wondering how exactly to install it..Where do you mount the bolts into?? Thanks
  7. Yeah, this snw has been the worst in a few years around here. The whole city was caught off guard
  8. Just had the 2000 OB out in the deep anow we got here in the northeast. I am in awe of how well this plows through Foot deep or more snow. I know my 98 Legacy is great, but just doesnt have the ground clearance to plow through because non of our streets have been plowed here in Scranton. I am glad to see that Subaru hasn't lost its since of dependability and ruggedness over the years and believe that this Outback would stand up to my 82 4WD wagon in the snow anyday!!!
  9. Where did you get the decals for the bottom of the car?
  10. My father picked up a 2000 Outback with 94k on it. The wagon is in very nice shape with the timing belt freshly replaced. Rides like brand new!! Have a look...http://s89.photobucket.com/albums/k215/mattpappas/
  11. Be caredul with the fenders, the 80-82 fenders have the antenna slot on the drivers side and the 83-84 MY's ahve the antenna slot on the passenger side.
  12. Got a respomse from SOA earlier. They said they currently do not let the public into their storage facilities. Hopefully someday soon they will!
  13. I havent heard anything back from SOA yet, but when I do I will let everyone know what its all about. Ill also let everyone know when I am going so people can come along.
  14. I sent an email today to SOA headquarters in Cherry Hill, NJ to inquire about viewing the special collection of vintage subies they have stored over the years. I hope they will let me schedule a viewing in the near future. Has anyone on the site viewed or heard what might be on display??
  15. Not an 81, but maybe youd like to have a look http://adcache.collectorcartraderonline.com/10/4/1/87077841.htm
  16. 98 Legacy GT- 102,703 86 Hatchback- 74,503 82 Wagon- 167,944 Brothers's 89 Wagon -191,149
  17. If I can get away from my shop that saturday Ill try to bring the 82 wagon and the 98 Legacy GT to Carlisle..maybe the Hatchback has a possibility of making it also.. We'll have to see..Fingers crossed!!
  18. And I thought my hatch floors were rotted..
  19. Yeah, definitely post pics, I have never seen one of these hatches either.
  20. On my 82 wagon which has virtually 2 surface rust spots..i sanded them down, applied some rustbullet, then coated the inner wheel wells and rocker panels with spray on truck bed coating.
  21. If youre up for a drive to Scranton PA, I can point you in the direction of an indie subie specialist.
  22. Ah I gotcha..Thanks for the info!
