  1. Ill see waht kind of shape the exhaust is actually in then ill make a decision on what to do. Texan, I don't currently know anyone headed my way from that area, but ill keep ya posted.
  2. Looking to buy a 96 OB 2.2 5spd. 135k..Needs exhaust from the cat back. Any idea on how much that would cost me?
  3. If the head gaskets and timing belt have been replaced in the 2.5 you shouldn't run into any problems.
  4. Im taking your question to mean aftermarket parts for GT's and not stock parts right? The Stock 2.5 GT's of that year did not have a special exhaust..it was mostly cosmetic differences that set the two models apart..engine and drivetrain remained the same.
  5. Ah thanks guys was just wondering if they would work..ill just out them on my hatch.
  6. Will wagon wheels from an 86 Brat fit an 89 GL wagon?
  7. Im waiting for the call back then ill go check it out and if all is well, buy it.
  8. I can get a 96 OB with 2.2 liter with 135k on it, new clutch stock options with exhaust problems for $1800. Is it worth it?
  9. Yeah, I was thinking it to be an axle, but ill get a better look at it tomorrow in the daylight.
  10. Ha! I wasnt sure if the newer GL's had the parking brakes on the front. It happens when the car is moving ..louder when first starting out then gradually dissapates when accelerating. It happens when the brakes and motor heat up it seems. I drove it for about 15 mins today and didnt hear it, but after I parked it out of habit I pulled the parking brake.
  11. My brothers 89 GL wagon is making a strange thuumping sound. The noise seems to be coming from the rear of the car. It only seems to do this after the car is warmed up but it also does it after the parking brake is pulled. Could this be an axle or a brake problem?? Bent rim??
  12. Would these twin turbos work on My 98 2.5 GT??? What would need to be done to make them work?
  13. Ill try my best..but he may have the same passion haha
  14. yeah i know...i didnt have my cam with me but, when im up there next week ill try and take some of it..
  15. While at work in Hallstead, PA, about 5-10 mins from Binghamton, NY I spotted an 83 GL Turbo wagon. I stopped to take a look cause there was no plate on it and figured it might be for sale. The car only had some surface rust, but no rot. I look in and see its only got 24k miles on it!! I went in to the place to see if ti was for sale because I wouldve picked it up right then and there, but it was the gus aunts car and he didnt want to sell.
  16. Ahh excellent, thanks for the info its gonna help out alot! I oredered a pint and a quart today just to see how it will work
  17. I ordered some today and after some in depth reading about the product seeems like it works pretty well.
  18. Ive decided on getting this stuff called rust bullet to put in the tub of my hatch interior and the wheel wells, bottom of the doors and bottom of the body. It says 1 qt will do 50 sq ft for $37. The quart is 24 for 25 sq. ft. Should I go with a quart and a pint for the area I need to cover? Anyone ever use this stuff or hear of it?
  19. yeah as everyone said they are traffic volume counters that record the number of axles that cross over them
  20. Wow man glad everyone is OK. Working for Penndot I saw alot of incidents similar to yours today. Up in this area of PA alot of the roads were like raging rivers right across and the water chipping off pieces of the road like nothin.
