Well, I think I finally found an old EA81 wagon. Ive been searching for one close for about 2 years now and came across one. I need your guys expertise in determining whetether to pick this one up or not. Its got 135k on it, he sais it starts right up everytime,small drip from trans(manual) all plusg cables filters replaced within a year,major rust ahs been patched with aluminum and its inspected till the end of the may.I would be driving this around as is before I got time to try and restore it. What do you guys think?

On my way to class a few weeks ago I noticed an old EA82 Wagon on jackstands and I knew someone had been working on it. I drove by today and saw two EA82 Wagons in the driveway of the same model and color. I dont kno what he is doing with them, but the one may be a parts car. I may have to stop by and say hello haha

Oh yeah Im definitely familiar with the dreaded piston slap. My 2.5 GT has been slapping all winter long. Ive slowly gotten used to it though.

My father is looking into buying a 2002 outback with 65k on it and its got the 2.5. The dealer wants 12,995 for it. I took a look at it and could not find any scratches and the paint is in excellent shape. What should I look for in this model and year? Any comments good or bad about this style Outback?

When I bought my 88 GL Hatch about 3 years ago, I spent $63 dollars on the purchase of the car, only because thats how much money I had in my wallet at the time. I drove it home and put a bumper on it that I paid $40 bucks for and installed it myself. I sold it last year with alot of dings and rust for $150 to the original owner. It may be starting all over again because Im considering purchasing a 1984 GL Hatch next month, but this one is in pristine condition.

Im going to have them check it out to see whats actually wrong and see if he will do it for free.. Hopefully haha

Well, I had my exhaust pipe welded about a onth ago as it fell off while driving. I now can hear the exhaust getting louder inside the car almost if I have a hole in the system somewhere. Hopefully It won't take much to fix.

Hmm maybe I should opt out of this project haha

I was wondering how much of a pain in the rump roast it would be to convert an automatic tranny to manual. Ive been considering doing it, but am worried about how much money and time it would take to accomplish. Anyone know what I would need to do it?

My brother, who owns a 97 2.5 GT with 167k on it, purcahsed a 2005 Legacy 2.5GT Limited with 9800 miles on it this past saturday for $22,600. The color is silver with charoal leather. Boy does that turbo kick! I will try to have him post pics.

Yeah, I know Rusty Jones was piss poor at doing what he was supposed to do. I just wanted to see a picture of it, I havent seen one since I got rid of my old hatch.

I def don't think they're worth dropping $200 or more on them either.
