O2 sensor questions 03 forester
I have an 03 forester giving me the 2 codes for the o2 sensor. I have a 99 outback parts car. I was wondering if i could swap the exhaust system would it "Lego" together? The plugs the same? Would the ecu be "ok" with it or the sensors give the ecu different signals between the 99 OB and the 03 forester? This is in California and i need to smog the 03 forester

86 brat with 3" lift over size tires questions
My loyale still has the 13" wheels on it. This will be my first 6 lug swap to 15" wheels on any older suba. So i might just go with the 225/70r15. I cant just keep buying tires after tires. So once i buy them ill be stuck with them for a while. That's why i posted on here my questions lol

86 brat with 3" lift over size tires questions
So ive been trying and trying to figure out what would be the best tire size with what i have to work with. Im looking for an all terrain tire. I have a set of m/t Toyota 6-lug 15x8" wheels and a 3" lift on my brat. So far i know i dont want to go over 27" tire for drivetrain. As of now i have the stock ea81 in it. But i have an ej22 and an ea82 5 speed dual range that will go in it eventually. Ideas? Im in California if that makes a difference

Legacy running gear under a loyale
F*** that legacy. I got no paperwork for it. I was planning to lift it. Fabbing is fun. I was just wondering if anyone has already done it, so i can follow in their foot steps. But i can make my own steps lol

86 brat with weber questions
The carb is the weber 32/36 dgav 33b1, im not the one who did the weber swap. In the front of the carb there is something missing, after some searching i think its the primary idle jet and holder for it. I was able to plug it with a small alin bolt with the same thread. Now it will idle but what will happen if i dont replace the jet that's supposed to be in there? Is there a shop that i can go to in person that carries parts for this? (in California) The local o'reilly's does not have anything for it. I tried to order a new jet and holder online but its not right...

Ea81 brat 86 cv axle upgrades?
Thats a little ridiculous for cv axles unless then are so solid that its rare for them to brake

Ea81 brat 86 cv axle upgrades?
$500 per shaft... Yea i think just braking them and replacing them would be cheaper... Lol

Ea81 brat 86 cv axle upgrades?
What's the difference between ea81 and ea82 cv axles? Why do some people say you have to lift evenly the ea81 and the ea82 can take a little bit more on the strut towers? The weak point is the cv axles. Im just trying to figure out what i can do to upgrade the cvs for this reason. Im thinking of possibly remaking the control arms

Ea81 brat 86 cv axle upgrades?
That you know of, is here anyone who's fab a custom cv axle?

Ea81 brat 86 cv axle upgrades?
So i have be looking and looking can someone if they know it, link a thread with brat cv axle upgrades. Mostly for offroading. Another side question, would the ej 5 speed single range or the ea 5 speed duel range be a better choice. I have an ej22 thats been rebuilt that im planning on using. Im hesitant of pulling the ea 5 speed d/r because its in a fully running ready to go ea82. What's wrong with using the 4 speed brat tranny? Ive read that some people say the ej22 will destroy the ea 4 speed. Thanks

06 legacy timing belt broken.
This is a friends car but i was told the timing belt broke at highway speeds. Im assuming the intake values are bent. Is there a way to check them before pulling everything apart? About how much should this cost to fix? Rebuild the heads, or replace the heads? Im in California.

99 ob ej25 headgasket timing belt
nicksubaru replied to nicksubaru's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXSo now the question is where would be a good place to buy my parts from, and what brands? Im going to be using this engine from the 97 Subaru. So if theres a differents that should be noted. Im going to use as much of the 99 stuff as possible. Intake, sensors etc. Im looking for timing belt and headgasket kit. Dont think this engine needs a head gasket, but im going to replace anyways. Because it looks like the stock garbage ones

99 ob ej25 headgasket timing belt
nicksubaru replied to nicksubaru's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXThat's my thoughts as well. Thats why i really don't want to change out the pistons. Im not trying to drive this car myself, im trying to sell it, so i can put money into my 86 brat.

99 ob ej25 headgasket timing belt
nicksubaru replied to nicksubaru's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXOh dam. Ok that's good to know. So the thicker headgasket is taking the full load of the compression that's why they arnt as good?

nicksubaru replied to nicksubaru's topic in 1990 to Present Legacy, Impreza, Outback, Forester, Baja, WRX&WrxSTI, SVXWhat would be wrong with using the thin headgasket, but not change the pistons?
