  1. any takers My dad and I will be going, plan to take 2 offroad soobies, would like more, its untaimed woods full of brush ,
  2. engine and trans are in , now to start the build up, up untill now its just been a tear down, got a Webered EA82 , hope to run it without any computer, may mount the rad as shown behind engine, or stock location raised up for better aproch angle,

  5. Progress Pics got a 2 week deadline to beat it in the woods, will maybe leave the dash and windshield for now but plans are to remove them
  6. splitin cases on a 87 Dual range transaxle, will I need any special tools?? whats a good goo to glue them cases back together with? will be weldin up the spiders and then puttin er back together, any thing to it any tricks concerns theankis Scott

My Dad has 40 acres on the Nooksack river , its all treed and brush would like to take a few wheelers out on 18 Sept to blaze some trails and help Dad find the property line, Im going just dont want to go alone, there are no trails so it would be bush wackin and cuttin a few trees , who wants to go?

Started #1 shortened EA82 silver turbo wagon 20" so 77" wheelbase, lookin at 2" lift at front struts, goin to go look at some Boat seats, would like light weight and water proof, will run the 27" TSLs , this things being built out of extra junk just laying around so EA82 engine with weber carb, 4 Speed Dual range from a EA81, EA81 clutch, think Ill go with a pink and purple paint for the girl , would like it runnin in 2 weeks

  11. use the chunk of body with the engine, suspension, controls (steering,footpedals, shifter),floor for your feet,also with the Vin # on the engine side firewall , that way it could be licensed or get a ORV permit mount radiator up behind engine for better aproach angle rectangular and square tubing for base frame, round tubing for uppper cage first one modified stock sheet metal , next ones fiberglass panels ( build molds off first ones dimensions ) 80" wheelbase 27-29" tires 2 or 4 seats

I would like to make a bunch of Subaru based buggies , basically take one Doner car a EA81 or EA82 , make a light steel framework of tubing, add all the Stock subaru components , add some fiberglass panels and or steel or aluminum panels, we could use my shop , if I had say 3-5 guys that could dedicate 1 or 2 nights a week we could design and build them in a batch , would need money up front to buy all the supplies, you provide your own Doner car, my personal favorite would be a EA82 with dual range and add a EJ22 something like these, that you guys think? anyone in NW WA that would be interested ?
  13. what is this company I would like a set what is the reduction on these lowwer hi/low gears how much Money do we need?
  14. one question: can I build a EA82 Dual range 5speed with either the 4.11 or 4.44 final gear? , and if so what parts are needed?
  15. Heres the nissan 720 pickup front setup the diff bolts right in , will need to get one more long axle , this will go in the rear

  17. todays progress with some great help from a couple o board members old EA82 Carbed engine and burnt Auto trans out, 3.9 Dual Range installed EJ 2.2 installed with Delta Torque Cams ( cams installed today, and found woodruff key keyway and pulley and timing gear shot, keyways damaged, got it welded up and ground and good parts installed alll today) 6" lift blocks mounted on engine crossmember, and radius/tranny crosssmember

  20. it will physically bolt right in , looks like 4.3 to 1 ratio , so rear tires will be bigger then front
  21. the car is white at the moment, been lookin on line for some ideas
  22. Update going with a 6" lift, got most of it built tonight the 2.5 fell threw so Im going with a EJ22 got a set of Torque grind Delta Cams for it, looks like Saturday we will start into the car, thinkins a Red White and Blue paint job is in order
