  3. im thinking of using the carbed block also just dont want to tie up my turbo car w/ no motor while its snowing, gonna have to find a pair of turbo heads and all the other paraphnalia, i have 2 running EA82 carbed cars slready for parts

  8. replaced the clutch etc, slid right in, none of the tighten through the starter hole B.S., just the shifters to finish up, and strated the big one EA82T pass side head gasket, no coolant into oil no oil into coolant, would just pressurize the system, and could go out first thing next day and it would still have pressure

  13. ya its gettin a little cold for that kinda tomfoolery, im trying to find out which head gasket went pop and hoping its not a head, oh and then the D/R swap, bought me a car trailer today
  14. i have to do my turbos head gaskets and have a carbed block(not here yet) and was gonna swap for a bit of extra compression, is there a spot for the knock sensor and the crankcase vent hose right beside it? thanks
  15. have you unplugged any connections? i would get the battery checked and clean the batt terminals , dont overlook the easy stuff

  18. they dont match, but i still have the Isuzu rims they are only 6" wide w/5" backspace compared to 7"w/ 4.8" backspace but less work and a bit nicer looking, but the trade off is 1" wider stance, first i have to get the bad camber angle figured out(no i dont have the 4" lift block in backwards) toyota wheel: Isuzu wheel:

  21. anyone running yota alum rims. 1st you have to run the yota wheel nuts right? so the question is when i redrill rotors do i have to use yota studs or subi studs gonna work?
  22. i use a composite hammer, i have a nice tool for pulling the outer back through the bearings, it was originally for Suzuki LJ80 front diff but i modified it, i'll take a pic, it sure makes life easy
  23. the diesel will work like a fine oil to free rings etc in piston area
  24. sounds like you have the basics covered, you may need to pull the heads and check the pistons and rotating asembly. You could pour diesel in the cylinders and let soak a day or so, how long since it actually ran?
