  1. Last soob trip for me was 2500 miles one way.. still haven't made the return trip:)
  2. Funny.. after spending 27 years there (NW) , its still scenic to me.. Maybe you are just to drunk most of the time to appreciate it.
  3. As far as I know, there are no 4wd dynos in denton. however, there a soob tuner shop that has one here in mckinney.. they are having a dyno day later this month.. 26th I think. i am trying to get my car back together in time for it.
  4. No problem I currently have 3 EA82s in my garage in teardown mode.. Don't wait too long or they will be put back together.. you need parts? I have some. Let me know
  5. Come over and I will show you some stuff.. I'm about 30 minutes away from you. What he means is that there is a weekly thread about improving performance on the EA82T.. Try the search and it will turn up some interesting results.. A lot depends on how much money you want to spend and how handy you are with a wrench. Nothing wrong with asking a question.. we were all new once..(well.. except me )
  6. I could go 15 miles away and 6 for quite a bit less than that:-\
  7. You found it. This is the best place in town. How much you looking to spend.. how far you willing to go.. and are you looking for stock or modified?
  8. mumble mumble mumble... something about a new house.. mumble mumble
  9. yup, on yours it is on the ECU.. right in the middle.. its a little LED..green I think, but can't remember.
  10. The check engine light is on because theres an error code. Seroiusly doubt that it needs a new ECU under the dash, to the left of the steering column, there are 2 green connector, plug them in, turn the key on and count the flashes of the light on the computer. that will give you the error code and tell you what needs to be fixed. If in fact you do need a new computer, let me know. I have one here for an 88 Turbo that I will let go for substantially less than $500
  11. I use the thule rack I got years ago for my Saab.. I jusrt had to buy new feet for it for the wagon.. I oaid about $35 for the original setup with feet and crossbars on eBay.. then another $35 for the subaru feet.. I got the bike rack attachments really cheap on eBay too
  12. Ok.. I'm stumped.. The FSM is a little lacking here... how do you remove the crank seals on an EA82T?
  13. AFAIK, GLs and GL-10s use the same seat rails and mounting holes.
  14. So are we far enough into this thread for me to call BS yet?
  15. I did mine like this.. seemed like the natural way to do it.
  16. I'll bet that if you could get TWE or Folger subaru to sponsor it, NASIOC would make a subforum.. with out the sponsorship, no chance in hell.. Nick is all about the $$$
  17. 13psi on a VF11 is a bit different than 13-15psi on a VF7 I can run 12-13 all day long at stock 20btdc with no problems.. well , I could before the motor got tired.
  18. probably got sedan struts. they are shorter.. if you want struts that are the same length as the adjustables cranked up, I always order struts for a 90 Loyale 4wd wagon. that seems to be the only way to guarantee that I get the right ones. But you hve to have the long srings to go with it as well. And yes, there are aftermarket adjustables, they are made by KYB.
  19. Richie has one of those cars.. maybe he knows.
  20. OMG!! Not teh hair from the ears!! Sorry to break this to you.. means you're gonna die
