Offroad Bumper Group Buy AA
Shadyirishmen replied to Shadyirishmen's topic in Products for your Subaru
I am going to direct this thread to Joe to make sure everything has shipped. If you can email him, please do so with your information. allied004@centurytel.net I actually was there when they shipped the wheels, they shipped three at the post office and the pricks there closed and told us we had to ship the rest somewhere else, so we ran down to the local postal center (ma and pa shop) and sent the rest out through them. You should have received all of them at about the same time! I will have to notify the Joe. -

Hodaka Rider its not exactly a NO, its just I really don't know what the deal was with your order. Did you pay within the time of the group buy? Have you received your lift yet? Tell meeeee...... I really don't know what takes place any more, because I am hardly at the shop, Joe, Albie, and Tyson take care of all the orders and if there late they don't fill me in? All I do anymore is give them ideas sell products and go to school. -

Lifting a 95 impL, AA kit vs strut/spring lift?
Shadyirishmen replied to sayn3ver's topic in Off Road
We have 29"S under both our lifted legacy and Outback with Outback struts. They will fit. The lift kit will get you high enough that you will not destroy your wheel wells. If you'd like pictures email me or just view the pics of the legacy here. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/photos/showphoto.php?photo=8751&sort=1&size=medium&cat=500&page=2 -
I think were the only ones in the U.S. building a lift for the Legacy. If im wrong some one correct me. The lift itself is four inches and it requires that you run Outback/forrester struts front and back. here is a picture of one we lifted. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/photos/showphoto.php?photo=8751&sort=1&cat=500&page=2 Zapar is right people need to hit the FAQ link above. This is like the 5th time this week I have seen someone ask about where to get these things.

I would have taken it deeper, but at that depth I could feel it start to bobble, aka it was starting to float! I know you might not believe me, but its that eery feeling of your tires not grabbing that makes you not want to go any deeper. If I had more weight in the car i would have maybe considered it. The seals on Ol gray are in pristine condition so nothin ever gets in the car. If you look at Austins video he looks like he is definitely floating and the only thing push his car (other than gods hand) were his nobby tires.

You like that snorkel dont you!!! yes I know this has no significance to the statement, but I really had to check out the new smiley.

Subaru Baja Lift Kit Group Buy
Shadyirishmen replied to Shadyirishmen's topic in Products for your Subaru
Yep we went four wheelin with the monk! That subie of his is pretty cherry and works real well. As for the Baja lift we are debating about the height of the lift, it will be in the range of 2.5" -4" depending on many variables, our main goal/objective is to fit our staple 29" tires under the vehicle. The lift may be designed differently than our previous lifts because the front strut lower cap will only allow for 4" taller tires, which might be the max allowed within the fenderwells. I will get more details as things progress. Instead of steel tube blocks, we might actually use solid aluminum blocks for added stability. -
Yep, Scappoose is completely flooded right now so ponds, lakes and tremendous puddles are everywhere. The property our facility is located on is a complete mud bog/wetland theres lots of high ground here also but we like the sticky stuff! If you look in the video it did begin to float for short second. I remember the moment when tires begin to not grab much and it was bobbling aroun!

note to self WAS WRONG... real problem pics inside... blah
Shadyirishmen replied to scrap487's topic in Off Road
You dont have the engine in it! Thats part of teh problem the front end is probably doing a wheelie. But fifteen degrees! Even if the engine is out I don't know if it would settle the front end that much to counter 15? Keep us updated the suspense is killing me and my company.
