  1. Well there is plenty of high ground, just there is lots of low ground with marshland written all over it, we also have large barns that people could put tents into if got real bad.
  2. What do your friends think about your Subaru offroad vehicle? For Instance: Most of my friends think it is the coolest thing they have ever seen, but some guys point at my car and are like why in the F*$K would you do that to a Subaru for. Another example: (My Girlfriend) Who hates my car and is embarrassed to drive it. She tells me to sell it but I refuse. Really I just want to get a taste of what people think about the lifted ru's out there and maybe what you have said to justify yourself (to naysayers), or to one up yourself by being the coolest kid on the block.
  3. yea there is a reason why it designed the way it is . If you tried to leave the engine up high the axles would snap in no time.
  4. If the front end doesn't settle, we can give you another set of strut extensions. We had some of our olds go out on the group buy and the Camber wasn't corrected. Someone else here on the board had the same problem and we got er fixed.
  5. Is there anyone else who has pictures??? SPanky Pete?
  6. I thought about that (water truck thing) we have several huge water pumps that could make a mudd pit with, but it is so much more fun when the whole place is muddy!
  7. I will have the associate call in today and see what we have into them. I also need to get pictures of the new modified one up.
  8. Its good to see ethical people are still around. Keep up the good work.
  9. Well if I know in Advance everything can be assembled with actual functional and prize winning events!!! MUD ha! We got lots of mud more mad than you can shake a stick at. Anyways, if the guys who coordinate WCSS events don't want to throw the event here (Even though we have everything needed to throw one, massive parking, Under cover party bars, a hotel (b&, offroading areas, maybe even a sanctioned speed event, spectator areas, parking for a car show, etc.... the list goes on). We could always throw a different style of event! Actually the WCSS events have always been a little later in the year like spring, thats when the mudd starts drying up. Maybe they could hold the event earlier the year? OR we can do something different and call it the Subaru MUD Festival.
  10. You shouldb be able to run with just struts, around 26 to 27" inch tires. if you a put a lift kit on the car you can run 29's.
  11. It would be great to get feedback for what people would like to see happening so we can prepare now instead of later. If we get the stars aligned we may be able to through one hell of a show!!!
  12. CMiller thanks for bringing my attention to this thread! Allied Armament is located on an 800 acre ranch (chris can tell you about it). Anyways, we do events here all of the time and actually have a bed and breakfast, outdoor parking, an outside party barn, offroading areas etc.. We are located just 20 minutes outside of downtown Portland OR. If you'd like to mapquest it or look at it with a satellite here is the address; 55948 Columbia River Hwy Scappoose OR. 97056 Or you can look up the Malarkey Ranch Inn B&B, I have spoke to the Oregon Ralley Group and this would be an event that they may want to endorse. Can anyone say Jymkobah (sp) one of those offroad subaru races on a small course! Here is a picture of about 125 of the 800 acres The building with the green rough in front of the Barn is where are shop is located. If there is enough interest we can have the event here.
  13. They are built, but because I am in Corvallis and the shop is in Portland, (I go to school full time now) and my associate runs the shop but doesn't know how to use the computer. I will have to take pictures on Friday.

  16. ATTENTION: PRICES ON THE LIFT KITS HAVE BEEN LOWERED TO AN ALL TIME LOW. EA 81 Standard Lift: Lowers front and rear sub frame equally. No axle strain includes rear brake lines (had to raise price $10 to accomodate extra costs). (bolt on kit) (20 in stock) (dont forget send your old steering shaft in and save $10) 1-5 people on group buy $360 6-10 people on group buy $345 11-15 people on group buy $ 330 16-20 people on group buy $ 320 EA 82 Moderate clearance lift: Lift is built using standard front lift that lowers the whole front sub assembly and keeps stock axle geometry in the front. The rear of the lift is lifted via the top of the strut 3” inches (same rear lift on 4” and 3” lifts) and uses a 1” mustache bar lowering block. LIFT WILL KEEP YOUR TIRES CLOSER TO THE CENTER OF YOUR WHEEL WELLS IT IS NOT LIKE OUR HIGH CLEARANCE LIFT. This lift adds some strain to the rear axles but has proven dependable on the rear axles for over 10 thousand miles, unlike competitors lifts this lift will keep your rear end tucked up tightly so that you have more clearance and protection under your rear sub assembly. This lift will provide dependable drivability and superior offroad performance. This is our most affordable lift kit and comes highly recommended by our CEO. (Bolt on kit) (20 in stock) (dont forget send your old steering shaft in and save $10) 1-5 $ 345 6-10 $ 335 11-15 $315 16-20 $305 High clearance lift: (4” lift only) Lift is built using standard front lift that lowers the whole front sub assembly and keeps stock axle geometry in the front. The rear of the lift is lifted via the top of the strut 4” inches and uses a 1” mustache bar lowering block. This lift adds excessive strain to the rear axles but has proven dependable, unlike competitors lifts this lift will keep your rear end tucked up tightly so that you have more clearance and protection under your rear sub assembly. This lift is for the purest and provides superior offroad performance. (Numbchux has this lift and has written about it). (Botl on Kit). (20 in stock) (dont forget send your old steering shaft in and save $10) 1-5 $ 345 6-10 $ 335 11-15 $325 16-20 $315 EJ EJ series lift: This is the newest addition to the allied Armament family. We have fitted it to Outback Wagons and Legacy sedans. It comes as 2.5” lift for the outback and 4” lift for the Legacy. It retains stock geometry in the front and adds minimal strain in the rear (almost none). It is based on lowering front and rear struts via strut extensions and lowering blocks for front and rear sub assemblies. We are unsure if this lift will fit on the Imprezza model and newer model outbacks (2000 and newer). If people are interested they can bring there vehicle to our shop and have one fitted to these two types of vehicles and they can join in on the group buy. (We are located in Scappoose OR.) (bolt on) contact for pictures (1 in stock) (dont forget send your old steering shaft in and save $10) 1 $485 2 $455 second purchase will have to wait for manufacturing to build more 3 $445 ditto Shipping is not included in this price. Shipping is $20 for the lift kits
