  1. Dang, I think he is going big, 235's. Where is it rubbing? Thats the problem with extremely large tires after a certain size they will actually hit part of the suspension.
  2. I will list prices of the parts for the builders here shortly once I figure out costs. Yes we have outback lifts now, and we are changing the price from $700 to $600. Here are the pictures. You'll have to click on the link below in order to see the outback. The wheels and tires on the blue Legacy will fit on the outback with minimal and I mean minimal trimming. http://alliedarmament.homestead.com/SubParts.html
  3. Bingo on the diagram. Hey King I will get that wheel out Friday, sorry about the delay. I can get tranny guard protectors for anyone who wants them, we just usually don't install them, because we have never had a problem with the shifter link being smashed. Your call pm or email me if you want em. JM
  4. We have all of the specs and we have all of the parts to begin fitting and testing a production model of the EA to EJ adapter, but we have been so busy building lifts we haven't had enough time to finish designing it and blueprinting it so we can make them. BTW how much are people charging for them?
  5. Do you want to buy one? I will sell you one for cheap if you want to be the ginny pig!!! Hit me with a pm if anyone is interested.
  6. You, know I don't know for sure because no one has lifted one but if someone wants to lift one we can do it. I am sure there can't be to much different.
  7. Alot of people that I have talked to make their own lift kits. Would any people on this board be interested in custom cut strut extension pieces?
  8. 1. Are the transmission mount lowering blocks? There the triangular pieces. 2. Are there blocks for the other rear mounts on the mustash (crossmember) bar? Only the mounts for the rear mustache bar. 3. Are there blocks to go betwine the transverse link (control arm) and leading rod or betwine the leading rod mount and the body? Engine cradle blocks are the big squares, and the front strut extensions. 4. Are there center bearing mount lowering blocks? if not , Is the Differential angle important to U-joint life? There are center bearing mount lowering blocks. Thanks Dave
  9. The EA81 should be shipped out by this week. I talked to the shop master aka Albie and he was picking up the last of the metal and bolts. I will notify when shipped. JM AA
  10. EA82 style of lift 4" X 3" inch or 4" x 4" lift about $375 or $390 + $14 for shipping.
  11. Your lift is was one of the first ones shipped you should receive it shortly. Unfortunately, I am no where near the shop this whole week and all of the tracking numbers along with shipping receipts are there, and no one else would there would no what to look for. If you don't receive your lift by Friday, write me back and I will get the tracking number.
  12. Also another note your strut extensions should bolt up perfectly. They are made on a jig and our test fitted, if you have an alignment problem you may have the extension of the wrong side. There should be an L and an R stamped on the top of your front strut extension that will tell you what side of the vehicle it should be on.
  13. Please DO NOT CUT YOUR BUMP STOP / KICK STOP. I forgot to edit that part from the instructions. The instructions were edited from the High clearance lift which requires you cut the bump stops.
  14. I can't stress how much you need to call our office and ask for ALBIE (503) 543-5154. His brother and him are the ones who build the lifts and install them, Albie is the one to talk to because he is the lead tec. He will walk you through your installation and repair anything that doesn't fit correctly. The hardest part to installing the lift is the tranny crossmember it is hard to get it aligned. Just call our office and everything will be resolved. IF you need help CALL (503) 543-5154
  15. Make them tight, real tight not excessively tight, tight to were it feels good and then after about 200 miles retighten them and then in maybe 600 miles check them over one more time and they should be good. Or a good reference would be to use a subaru manual if you have one and use there torque specs.
  16. Thanks for the suggestions I'll take note for future lifts.
  17. I don't know if I got a chance to answer you. YES, it will work but you need outback struts to make it really work. JM AA
  18. He kept the stock springs. The power is not to bad (2.2 with a manual), its by far peppier than our EA82's but not as powerful as the 2.5, he is going to get a chip though to give it more power. Has anyone heard of unichips and how much performance you can get?
  19. Yes you heard correctly a legacy lift kit that you can actually put large offroad tires. Made by allied armament, this lift is a 2.5" lift that you put outback/forester struts on (legacy struts only allow street size tires). The lift is a part of the EJ family of lifts. and is $700 and requires you purchase outback struts. The car can run the infamous 29" swampers with minimal and I mean minimal fender trimming. Not the best pictures below but they should give you an idea of the results. For purchasing go to www.Alliedarmament.homestead.com 12" inches of clearance under the rear diff.
  20. 4x4moose you bought one of our lifts it is in the mail right now, and included with the lift are the stickers .
  21. I got pictures ready to email, I just ran out and took them. The legacy in the picture has the infamous 29" super swampers and outback/forester struts. You have to convert it to the outback and forester struts in order to put larger tires under it. Who wants to host the picture???? This car has 12" s of clearance front and rear and had minimal trimming to fit the tires. Host please email me at malarkey2@aol.com
  22. Yes about 5 days, so all the EA81's will be sent with a kicker check . Oh well.
  23. Yes, and I see where your going with this. I put ten business days after the 9th so it would actually be this sunday that everything would need to be shipped, but then because of my poor math I contradict myself and put the 19th (only ten days). If you really feel that I owe you I will kick out a $25 kicker check.
