I wouldn't recommend slamming them on a daily driver (although that is what mine are used for), they are way loud, but for offroad use muahahahaha they are almost better than having disk brakes. The tire swings backwards so it never contacts with the body, and when it goes down it goes further away from the body. It makes it so I have a heck of a lot of upward travel, and I still have about five to seven inches of downward travel. As for the weights on the wheels the balance is fine but damn those tires make alot of noise. Thanks for posting the picks. That’s why you need to cut it. The kit is for optimal clearance. The cars are inexpensive so chopping the fenders up doesnt really hurt, unless its your show car. We can make lifts that don’t bring the wheels forward, but if you want super 4 x prowesses there’s only one way to go. I have pictures of my car with 29's on it. Hell they come with a lift from the factory. I know that the new ones, because they couldn't meet emissions with their new line of motors were lifted a few inches to give them truck status so that they wouldn't have to be in the same emissions category. I would think that you may be able to get a 2 to 3 inch lift in it but who knows until we tear one apart.

Damn right they should warrant their work. I know I would. $500 dollars sounds mighty high for replacing a crankshaft pulley and belt especially when they are the ones who most likely did not torque the crankshaft bolt to spec. I dont know but aren't legacy 2.2's interferance motors? If they are there might be more than a crankshaft pulley problem. You might have bent valves:banghead: . Although, I must say it did take since january for the part to break, so I could see why the shop may be hesitant to fix the problem. Hmmmm tough call. I just know how much repeat business subarus bring (because they always break), so if they ate this one he would surely come back later.

My 86 gl with 29 inch swampers has the upgraded speedo out of a loyale (so it shows 100mph and above) and has broken a 100mph with the help of a very large downhill run.
