There is a holly 180 and a webber 32/36 on ebay, the holly is in aus and the webber is in the states. my question is, is the webber worth the time and extra money or is the holly just as good? both are a simmilar price.

I have been pondering the idea of putting the ER27 into my brumby/brat ever since i saw subarubrats brat, however i was woundering if i could do it without a lift, is there going to be enough room to fit the rad between the engine and bonnet without the lift? or would i have to "adjust" the bonnet?

well at work we only use castrol multitrax unless its an STI in which case we use castrol syntrans but by the sounds of this it is a little worse than a simple oil problem. Is it only 2nd? is it only on the up shift? is it crunching into 2nd and hard to shift other gears? perhaps it is a clutch problem not a syncro problem? but because you say it happned since changing the box oil you may have to consider the oil is starting to "eat" the syncro metal and after and if the box is split and problen fixed, using a different oil.

the wheels are currently straight white and abit rough so i will be spending some time to clean them up and repaint them like the ones you did that photoshop with for me. if i dont have a lift by the time they are ready ill be putin on some 215/50-15 roadies on but if i have my lift they will be gettin some bridgestone desert dualer A/T's like the ones on my mates patrol. Geez i love my mates parents tyre shop:brow: . I did notice in a car mag i was reading the other week an imported ER27 is only $1000:brow: -

I dont realy have the energy, paitents or time to go fitting an ej20 as much as ide love to. but yeah i dont think it is worth the money, i think i might get that lift before any motor work. im picking up my new Performance Chalnger 15x7 wheels today:headbang: PS: i havnt even had a chance to touch that roll bar yet i have been too busy looking for a new place to live. -

yeah ok so that price aint all that unreasonable after all, maybe i should just fork out the coin, maybe i should try make a deal with them like $600 fitted including a filter? Is the extra power etc worth all the $? -
I went to my local cabie center on friday at lunch to see if they had any 32/36 webbers in stock and he said that a brand spanking new webber 32/36 would be about $480 if i hand him cash otherwise it will be 500 neat, or i could have a reco one for the sum of $330 cash. I thought that this was a bit steep. what do you think? Is it worth it?
