  1. id take it off. brats look much better without them
  2. deffinatly put a aftermarket mechanical guage on. you will be surpised how far off the factory guage is. i just put one on my 82 gl and when the car is warm factory guage will read about 20psi and the after market one reads about 40psi
  3. yea there are really 2 near me. just never had time or money to tear into them not to many people seem to know about the yard for some reason
  4. not to upset u monstaru but there 2 of those cars in a u pull it yard near me the engines can be had for $130 a piece and the harnes run $20. just dont have the money to get any
  5. both pictures are the front drain holes i actually couldnt find the rear ones myself. one pictures is the left one is the right
  6. the drain holes are located in the very front corners of the sunroof and there also some in the very back of the sunroof. never had any problems with the rears one. when i had a leak i tryed clearing the drain hole and couldnt get anywhere so i pulled the part of the inner fender out where the drain tube run and found a large build up of dirt in there. cleaned it out and havent had a problem since. ill try to post a pic of the drain holes later today.

  10. Dont let the car intimadate u there not that bad to work on. the first motor swap i ever did was a 91 mitsubishi eclipse with the same motor as the galant. if you take ur time it wont be bad at all
  11. As bratman said it has to come out as a whole unit. it is alot easier to take it out together then to seperate the tranny in the car. Make sure u mark all vacum line so they go back in the right place there are quite a bit of them on the 4g63t as for the wiring harness it will usually fall right back in place for each connection.
  12. Most likely the factory tape player will not work with the aftermarket mp3 player

  14. are 90-94 legacy doors on a sedan the same size are a wagon. i need the lock for the inside and all the yards around here have sedans only
  15. that is a good example of a donor car but i wouldnt offer him more then 400 for it

  17. If it were my car id work at to keep it going. at 203k its just getting started. As long as u have the time and the know how or someone who does it can be fixed. i fixed a 82 in far worse shape then that.

  19. This is the best board i have been. Hardly ever have to start a new thread because of all the information u can find by just searching
  20. I know there are several threads about torgue bind but i could find what i was looking for. Is there any specific type of auto tranny fluid that helps better then others.
  21. the tribeca looks like a nissan murano Legacy looks like a toyota camry Impreza looks like a mazda 6 Forester looks like the new honda crv I dont think Subaru is being as creative as the use to be.
