  1. Glad to hear you got the bulbs. as far as a grounding point im not sure what to tell u on that everything plugs into the black box above the glove box which plugs into the main harness running behind the dash. Id check to see if ur battery terminal connection are completely tight.
  2. I have a 91 Legacy LS that gets a backfire through the intake. any ideas would be greatly appreciated i know plugs got about 10k on them. Factory wires have unknown mileage. There is no check engine light on so im not sure where to look first.
  3. the oem subaru part number for those bulbs is 85306ga000
  4. Keeping the car stock will make it worth more money if its rare. But if u want to drive it instead of sitting around collecting dust i would do some upgrades to it. How many cars from the 30's do u see driving around in stock form? Im sure a 34 ford coupe would be worth alot more if it were stock. But how quick are u gonna look at that car and say thats a cool car. But modded with flashier paint and and custom body work and so on is gonna get ur attention to the car alot faster. I say do what u want with your car.
  5. I personally never ran seafoam in my oil so i could not tell you if it will harm anything. But i have ran Marvel mystery oil and had good results with that.
  6. It will prolly smoke for a while that is a good amount that you added. Also you should never add anything when the proper amount is already in there
  7. Hope it dont get to cold out there for that ride
  8. I don't think i'm going to add it to the oil. Because i put some in my Lown mower and it blows some blue smoke/oil now?? Is that normal? Its normal for it to smoke blue after running seafoam through it. It should clear up after a bit
  9. If the tick is not to bad u can add a little marvel mystery oil to your oil and it should quiet things up
  10. Does anyone know the proper plug gap for a stock 91 legacy (non turbo). I believe the proper gap is .044
  11. i have always reset the codes by just pulling the battery. but the test and memory connectors are located under the dash below the steering wheel. if u connect both connectors with the car running it should reset the codes if everything was fixed. i believe the connectors are white and green.
  12. id try the large pipe b4 u try driving it since its make a bad noise when u put it in drive
  13. +1 on the length of pipe. just did the axle on my 91 and i did not think the nut would come off either until i used a 4 foot pipe on the breaker bar
  14. this question would be better suited in the new gen forum. i beleive the air filter on the firewall is just a cabin filter and has no effects on the cars performance
  15. if you cant get out to a store to purchase a tool u can use this method. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/showthread.php?t=58537
  16. if u want to stick with metric on the exhaust stud the size is m10x1.25
