  1. Your turning the right way, try hosing it down with liquid wrench or WD40. Any chance of getting an impact gun on it?
  2. Rad, I'll be in town the 20th thru the 26th of April. We have a wedding to go to that weekend but if it works out maybe we can hook up on Thursday or Monday. I've only done one timing belt replacment but it's pretty straight forward, just need basic tools and a timing gun. Also a good time to to do cam seals, tension pullys and water pump. If the timing works PM me your contact info.
  3. I'll be in Cordova/ Germantown in a month, if you don't get it by then I can take a look while I'm there.
  4. Seafoam works great, add it to your gas or just bring the R's up and pour a few oz's in the carb. It'll want to die and smoke like a b1tch but it'll clean things out. Put your hand at the end of the tail pipe, feel how much pressure is coming out. If it feels weak there might be a leak some where or the cats so fowled up is not letting it flowing. And replace the fuel filter under the car on the pass side, the one in the engine comp is more of a fuel separater I think.
  5. Whats up with your exhaust? you may have a plugged cat. Also check the basics, cap, rotor, plugs, and maybe dump some cleaner through the carb, clean some of the 20 years of crap out of the valves. Read through this, it's got some good info on EA81's http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/80s/ea-performance-page/subaru-ea-performance.html
  6. Wallmart has cheap timing lights. I'd say it's time aswell. that would make it tick and idle rought. you didn't drop any PBR pull tabs in the intake did you?
  7. I did a search but didn't find what I was looking for. Is the driveshaft from an EA81 AT tranny the same length as an EA81 MT? I'm putting the drive train(4spd D/R) from a hatch into a wagon(AT3) and need to know if the wagons shaft will work.
  8. Hey I'm on I70 between Grand Junction and Denver. If you guys need anything I'll be around all weekend My Home # is 970-384-3878 My Cell # is 970-618-0429 I'm in New Castle Co so honk any wave as you pass or give a yell if you need anything. Drive fast, take chances! Roc
  9. Here you go http://www.partsamerica.com/ProductDetail.aspx?mfrcode=BOR&mfrpartnumber=10776A&parttype=428&ptset=B
  10. I just put in a link to his profile. http://www.ultimatesubaru.org/forum/member.php?u=205 That way people can link straight to his site or PM with questions.
  11. I just left feedback for Patrick and he only has 2 feedback replies! whats up with that? I know there's more than 2 of us running Ozified lifts, so give it up! (mods please move this post as need)
  12. I scored my full size spare yesterday, got a PM from P.K. today, looks like my 4/3 lift will be here at the end of the week, and my LSD is converted and ready to go in. That leaves swapping in a different tranny, rebuilding my carb, rebuilding an axle, and installing rear shocks, front bumper and push bar. Heres to hoping it all comes together:drunk:
  13. Did you look to see if they were indeed leaking badly? I tend to not trust most pit monkeys as some are only trying to flag work that many not NEED to be done. If you trust that they are on the level and you can see that the parts are leaking, the price dosen't sound bad. Maybe call afew other shops in the area and get quots from them. Oh and What's Up! Colorado Rules!!!!!!
  14. I've been thinking about this aswell, and thought a cleavis pin would work if it was an approx. O.D. as the roll pin. Some thing like this:
  15. :headbang:thats rad It just proves that cool people get stoked on cool things. What are their weekend hours? I need both my mustache bar and spiders welded. Did you drop that block in yet?
  16. Well it's a rust box with a slush box, I'd give him $50 maybe $75 bucks for it.
  17. Thats the one Shawn had for sale at the last Colorado meet. I think he posted it for $100 to the board then it went on ebay.
  18. Dude, I couldn't even read the post b/c I was on the floor laughing at your avitar:lol: ! AAAAAAHHHHHH that kills me
  19. Ya thats the spot I was afraid would stop us. I've seen pics of guys stuffing spare tires into it and driving over them but I'd hate to pop the bead on my only spare way out there. Thanks for the beta, may have to do an out and back on Spider.
  20.
