  1. ...i wish i wouldnt have read this right before my chem test... *stomach turns*
  2. Yeah, they're called mr clean "magic erasers" they work crazy well. And they're like less than 3 bucks! SCORE!
  3. Anyone else have any input, before i put the lighter crankshaft pully on my car?
  4. very helpful. This is all making sense. I think the lighter pully will be mine BWAHAHA thanks man!
  5. i measured the thickness-ess on all three pullys *heavy a$$ one... solid with pin hole, and without pin hole* and they seemed to all be the same.... i'll check it out again, good to know. Thanks Turbone!
  6. how interesting.... because both EA82T's had the same resistance on the pully..., and i did see one other pully that had no pin hole in it.... the back to the dampner pully, i was thinking maybe because of the turbo, there needed to be extra...dampning...or something.... but then i saw the other turbo car in the yard without any dampner, just straight metal.... ....*learns* thanks for the info Calebz!!
  7. So i'm out at the pick a part, thinking my 87 GL-10's EA82T Crankshaft pully is broken... because it freespins on itself.... like a wierd dampner thingie inbetween.... so i see an 88 EA82T ..... *dont quote me on the exact years, but they were all within a year or two of mine* ......and i pull the pully off...and its a single piece... half as heavy as mine... but a single piece. "huh" i think to myself....thats wierd... so i go and pull another off... this time off of an 86 EA82 NA, and the pully is the same as the EA82T. single piece. a third is pulled off of an EA82 NA, and a third to add to the pile... ...so i'm about to go and say SCREW IT! i'm putting one of these on, its half the weight!! then i see a new car to the yard... an 87...GL-10, EA82T with!!! 3rd gen heads on it!!! WOAH!!! ....and wouldnt you know it....there she be... my crazy pully..... i yank it.. then i see IT TOO SPINS FREELY ON ITSELF. the whole reason i went to the yard... but! then i see the 3rd gen heads...and thats a whole other post i buy like 3 pullys...and leave it up to the USMB to decide which goes on... SO WHATS UP?!?!? can i ditch the heavy-rump roast pully and put the lighter one on.. and get some HP!?! *oh baby* or is there something i'm missing that the wise and all powerful USMB can enlighten this small soul as to WTF is goin on!! and why did the other EA82T have the lighter pully on it? i dont understand the reason for freespinning like it does... (and when i say freespining, i mean like..theres resistance and stuff but i hold onto the center...and the outside will spin, with the center stationary) fill me in!!!! thanks!!!
  8. I just took the oil pan off my EA82T and i was curious if anyone has come up with an ingenious idea for cleaning out the three level oil pan..... does anyone have a trick they'd like to share?!

I'm in california... but at the PAP 20 miles from my house, theres over 10 SPFI EA82's... if you needed an injector, maybe i could swing out there and pick one out for you... the only thing is time. i dont know if that would do any good for you, since im in ....california. let me know, and i'll could run out possibly tomorrow , definitly tuesday... (and if you can wait, which it sounds like you cant, i'll DEFINITLY be there on friday, saturday and sunday... i have a few heads i need and i could snag you one.) GOOD LUCK! Luigi
  19. When i had my crazy-saturn... i ran PIAA ultra whites and PIAA fog bulbs.... They were SO AWESOME. i loved them.... i could see EVERYTHING!!! including (in the middle of the night) people coming at me in the opposite lane, shielding their eyes from my brightness...... but.... they're 90 bucks per set. ouch. i'm a bit of a night-lighting whore though.. Night lighting to me is my favorte easy upgrade, so it was an easy choice. I VOTE PIAA! p.s.... and in the 3 years i owned them *including a collision* they never burnt out. fyi
