  1. It works better when you hook the toggle switch up to the light in the button so when you really want to impress people you flip the switch on the console and then the red light comes on and then press the red button.
  2. I doubt it broke your distributor i think hes feeding you a line of bull, and like you said non interfirence heads dont have problems after the belt goes. i would find another shop.
  3. Aww but the starting button is fun and it impresses people when they get a ride with you..lol:lol:
  4. Multi Port Fuel Injection
  5. Yeah im comming up on Friday night i probably wont get to seattle until around 10 or so but im hoping to wake up early on saturday get some direction and head you direction.
  6. I dont think there is any possible way for ATF to get into the engine and burn off. I would check every vac. hose and ever coolant hose and just make sure they are all hooked up right, i mean i've seen coolant hoses hooked to intakes and fuel return hooked to coolant and vice versa. I would just go over all the hoses under the hood and make sure they are all where they need to be.
  7. Hey man im going to be up there anyway and my girlfriend wants to go visit her friends up there so that leaves me with very little to do except watch the dogs and eat...lol i'd be happy to help thats what this board it all about right?
  8. do you know when the last it was started? and if the fuel sat in it for a long time you could have some issues there.
  9. I would trace the wiring back through everything, i mean start at the pump and slowly work your way forward until you get voltage.
  10. Its kinda hard to tell but is it BLUE or WHITE??? White is water/coolant, Blue is Oil.
  11. Well i can Bring my jack and some jack stands up ill also bring some Power Up to break the rusty bolts free, if there is anything else you can think of that i could Bring up to make things easier let me know. Andy
  12. My Hatch had the same problem the lady that had it before me put 4 starters in it in 4 years, so when i got it i hooked up a start button so that when it does fail i can just push the button and off i go! ( it was easier than opening the hood and jumpering the starter wires all the time) Works like a charm for me and really inexpensive.
  13. Caboobaroo Said the tranny will work...your wagons an AWD right???
  14. I tried posting this in the older gen. and got no response. I was just wonder if the A/T out of a '85 Gl Turbo Sedan would work in a '87 gl-10 wagon thats also has an A/T?
  15. From what i was just told you put a T in the spot where the oil pressure sender goes. Hook a hose to that and run that to the oil intake on the turbo. then drill and tap a hole in the oil pan run a hose from the return to the pan. then retard the timing to between 0 and 2 degrees. But like i said before it would be easier if the tranny works out.
  16. If you tie them together and everything is covered repairs are going to be a pain the arse.
  17. Still if its a reman or used axle they can still be bad directly from where you get them. did he install the wrong axle and start stripping the hub??
  18. Xoomer let me talk to Louie here at the shop he said somthing about doing the passage through putting a T right below the sender and drilling a hole in the oil pan tap the hole and use hook that up to the return. it would probably be easier if the tranny work (fingers crossed) but its another option for the xt.
  19. wrong or bad axle?!?! where did he get the axle from?
  20. No problem i just feel bad about the whole engine thing that sucks, but we'll get somthing figured out.
