EA81 engine masters, I have Q's.

I was also thinking about building up and ea81 but have no idea where to start or what to use. Qman has about 150 hp out of his ea81 he said somthing about building it to air plane engine specifiations. I have no idea where to get the specification for the airplane engine though. -

Usually with age the carb will start puking into itself causing it to run rich. -

For Oil you can T off the oil pressure sendre unit for the pressure side and the return side you need to tap into the oil pan and just run ther return line in there.

Well if you going to get ride of the lock cylinder all together i would make a new pannel for under the steering wheel and put the switches there, i have a push button start on my 1980 hatch for the rump roast. and on. i would trace wiring and just wire the push button in a hidden location but your still going to need the key for the doors.......unless you shave the handles:brow:

i always thought that was just the pipe cooling down and shrinking causing the heat sheilds to make noise?? -

If you can get the lock cylinder out and then use the graphite it would probably work alot better. -

As long as you can get to the moving parts it should work. -
check for a fried fusable link or fried ground wire.

Well im going over to xoomers place on saturday and we are going to attempt to put a tranny in his wagon... i was just wondering if anyone else is going to be around that area and would like to come hang out and b.s.???? Off the subject.....I was hoping to somday build a railer with a sube engine but have no base plans do you have any suggetions??? I alread have a VW front end for steering but am lost after that -

I've used the block tester 3 times and it has worked very well for me.
