March 15, 201016 yr Author mmm. I need a car trailer..but i may just rent the uhaul with trailer on this and take a day off to get it.
March 15, 201016 yr MAybe a rear LSD, but not for sure. It looks to be a very early 87, or it's had front markers and bumper changed out for 85/86 style. So it probably has a part-time 5spd with short gears, 3.7 diff.
March 15, 201016 yr yea, looks like a turbo coupe....not an RX. so no, not full-time 4WD, and probably not a rear LSD.
March 15, 201016 yr Author hmm, it is a 86 Turbo GL. 400 is the asking. heres the interior shot if that helps
March 15, 201016 yr the lock switch would be where the sticker is on the center console, it looks like a d/r 5 label but I couldn't make out the second shifter on this crappy monitor at any rate, for $400 I would snap it up whether it ran or not - but I am biased towards that body style
March 15, 201016 yr it probably has a part-time 5spd with short gears, 3.7 diff. Based on the picture, I agree with this. It also is a very strong candidate for a rear LSD. For some reason, those coupes seem more likely to have had LSDs when equipped with turbo engines. The front air dam is almost a sure thing for an LSD car. good luck!
March 15, 201016 yr i have been eying up this car on craigslist. there is a dual range lever in the one pic.
March 16, 201016 yr that should be a 3.7 dual range. the lo range would be the 1.1:1 low, instead of the 3.9 d/r which was a 1.592:1 reduction. this would be part time 4wd, just like the 4 sp d/r and 5 spd d/r. no center diff or lock.
March 17, 201016 yr I say go for it, and it does seem that those with the front air dam have an LSD. If it doesn't well, you got a rare 5sp d/r with the 3.7 diff. Twitch
