76 wagon I found on CL

Featured Replies

Very cool. An excellent start for somebody!!:headbang:

Oooooohhhhhh!!!!!! A 76 the one I want!!!! What freaking continent is that one on?

Lol. Definitely. It's only like an hour from Dannys place. God it felt like I was just down there.

I'm moving I'm moving!!!!

Beats lying still. So is your whole body moving or just certain parts?

I'd be all over that like stink on a monkey if I lived closer. Go get it!

Well I just got a message from the guy. He got it running and has decided to keep it for the time being. :(

That sucks, Sounds like the guy who listed it on CL got it and was planning a quick flip.....then after getting a lot of responses probably felt he could get more $ by doing a tune up/detailing. I doubt this is the last we will see of this car......stay tuned to ebay!

It's possible. I just hope someone doesn't mud it up with bad body work!!

Might already have that under that black.

No, he sent me a bunch of better pics. Its original faded green paint.

One fender was starting to rust out on top like they always do and it had some rust around one of the rear wheel wells, over all it looks to be it great shape. A definite saver!

That's great news. I'm sure it will be back up for sale again.

So it sold for $225 more than his craigslist price. He probably could have squeezed a little more out of it if he put a little more effort into cleaning it up. A little armorall goes a long way. Note to future flippers of this car if your going to take a pic of the odometer, at least wipe away the dust on the screen first.

In any event nice base start for a restoration, congrats to the new owner.

Agreed, i hope who ever got it does it well. And for gods sake i hope it stays on this coast!!!!!!
