That thought has afflicted a few members in the past. Some have done so repeatedly and needed a new job after the show.. I think its worth it but I cannot afford to get another job anytime soon.

 

Yup, WCSS9, I lost my second job at Home Depot because they didn't give me time off so I went. Wasn't too important for me to have that job, just extra money. WCSS10, I ended up losing my job at Les Schwab because the assistant manager approved my time off but the head manager did not and I wasn't informed until AFTER I got back. WCSS11 I was working two jobs again and ended up quitting my second job right before the show.

I never lost my job over it... but I showed up for work hung over for a trip out to eastern Oregon

 

Thankfully Swift / Dollar Tree never found out.

I really cant wait to go again. I complete at CJCC on june 29th so that should be plenty of time to get things in order .

Maybe if I win the lottery of stumble upon a pot of gold ill make it up there but about to pay for my summer classes and will be paying for my fall classes right before the show so im sure my cards will be maxed out for a bit . Last year in school though hopefully so WCSS15....ill be there. Even if gas went back down to $3 a gallon it would still cost around $600 just in gas to get there and back .

I am thinking I may have to pay someone off at work to trade days off with me (I am off Tuesday, so maybe I can work Tuesday and the guy off Friday can take Tuesday off) Woo hoo 6000 posts! I am there no matter what... even if its last at night Friday.... likely bringing someone this year too (finally)
