Does anyone have a recommendation as to the tallest tire I can fit on my 13" rims for my 85, 90, and 91 wagon? I'm not really that concerned about cornering ability I really can use more lift to be able to clear the rocks in the road.

No luck with 13's. The biggest i've ever seen is 185/70R13 which is nothing. This is why everyone goes to 14" rims in a six lug or they do a 5 lug hub swap. Do more googling and you'll see what i mean.

i have  185/80r13  sitting on my jackmans, i was able to find them at my local junkyard.

The 185/80-13 tires are very hard to find. I have run two full sets of them in years past. The last set, with a third the tread left, blew the left front tire. Local tire dealer looked everywhere and could not find a single one. I saved the best one for a spare and pulled back out my Peugeot 14" steel rims. Went with 185/75-14 Uniroyal's. You can search Ebay but you will probably pay right much for them. If my memory is correct the tire dealer told me no US tire company makes them anymore. Most of the foreign tire companies make them in very small runs which most likely sell out before hardily any can be shipped here. You would do better to search for Peugeot 14" rims and buy a 185/75-14 or 195/70-14 set of tires. Even if you lucked up and found a set of 185/80-13 tires if something happens to one you would be in the same situation I was. They are skinny as all get out too!

I`ve got a set of 195/70R-13s and 205/70R-13s.but,they are getting hard to find.

Only $420.00 a set and you still have to get them mounted and balanced. I just soon not find any! That is about the same I paid for a set of Michelins on my daughter's Focus. Just saying!!

$105 a tire for 185's? Holy cow! I can get these all day long here in Wyoming...for $35 a tire.
