I checked the weather up there and Sat. the 29th is suppose to be totally clear, sunny and a cool 31*. Its been raining hard for about a week and a half up there, so expect lots of mud.

Loads of mud and it will be sloppy!  Nick and I went out last night by my house for a short run.  Slip'n and slidin' everywhere. Downhills were more like skiing than driving.  Have fun and stay safe.

 

When and where are we all meeting up? It sounds like snow is a sure thing. Should be fun. Sounds like we had a couple guys interested. Hope we get a good turn out.

You guys need to let me know when you're going wheeling locally. I've never been to rickys..

What a fun run. although I had to have my car trailered home on a 23 foot enclosed trailer. 

What happened?

broke a lot of parts in my front end. I had a 2 hour drive home and I had no brakes, my steering was all buggered up, and my wheel bearings sounded like they were about to explode. 

It's good to see that butters hasn't broke in half yet!

I had a great time. It was good to meet all of you. Thank you to Bryan for running down the trails and taking video. Can't wait to see it. Already itching for the next run.

Now I know which Bryan you guys were talking about.

 

Bryan we met up at Cash Prairie when you and Gary were going to Bethel Ridge in September.  While you guys were out wheeling on Saturday I was back in that same area.  I did the entire Bethel Ridge road from Hwy 12 to Hwy 410.  The initial 7 mile hill climb from Hwy 12 to Cash Prairie is one of my all time favorite high speed gravel runs. It was all snow this time and I still averaged 40 mph going up.

 

I remember you quite well, but forgot your name!   Glad Gregg recognized you from the WCSS.  Beautiful area out there. Snow run in that are is on my list! Hope to see you at an upcoming run with that wagon beast!

Definitely.  She is getting a much needed power upgrade before she goes on another run but that won't be until after the rally car is finished.

Hows an early snow run up to walker sound on Dec 27th or Jan 3rd?
