December 4, 201411 yr You could wire in a trailer light plug with a converter box and use trailer lights on a bar until you find a set of factory ones.
December 4, 201411 yr They also have magnetic towing lights that you can stick on your bumper. check your local u-haul store or a trailer/camper sales place
December 4, 201411 yr Author 1978. I'm missing the headlight mounting brackets , taillights, side markers, blinkers, and gauges. Could also use some decent front fenders. I will probably go with trailer lights for now. If anyone has a lead on parts near Olympia Washington I'd really appreciate it. Thanks all!

February 18, 201511 yr I might, this weekend I hope to do an inventory of parts I have and do a parts for sale ad in market place...if we don't get a foot of snow.
February 19, 201511 yr I have a set of rear gen 1 brake lights (full assembly). They were the originals that came with my truck, lenses are cracked but fully functional. If you're interested I can swap in my good ones (haven't done it yet) to make sure they work and I can sell you my old ones.
February 20, 201511 yr That would be great! Ya, my lights work, its just the back left lens that got busted, so thats what I'm looking to replace. so i guess it would depend on how badly they are cracked. PM me some pics?

Unfortunately I think the passenger looks better.
March 4, 201511 yr Since you're seeking "Best Looking Replacement" Tail Lights for the Subaru Brat, Why don't you stuff there, "Euro Style" Clear tail lights? I've seen here in Honduras, many Brats with those clear tail lights, designed as replacement for the Toyota 22R pick Up.
