February 24, 201511 yr Well, I feel like my 82' BRAT build has felt a little like Jurassic Park at times...65 Million Years in the Making, lol! In actuality, it's been 4 years since driving it back home from L.A. in March of 2011. Still have a few more things that I'd like to do and dial in a bit more, but I guess that's always seems to be the case. But with that said, I was able to enter it into my first car show this past weekend at the World of Wheels Milwaukee and also did drive it to and from the show in the middle of February in Wisconsin, so it certainly won't ever be a trailer queen! Also happened to take first place in my class which was (Mini Pick-Up Truck - Pre-88 beat out a few Yotas & Mazdas. So needless to say I feel pretty good about finally getting it close to what I had invisioned in my head. I also want to thank a few people for getting it to this point. February 25, 201511 yr Author Sure Thing! When's that show? The next one I had an eye on is the Wisconsin Dells Automation that's roughly the 3rd week in May held on the Noah's Ark grounds. February 25, 201511 yr Its usually sometime in July or September, whenever Shannon can get everything together. it is held at the Don Miller Subaru dealer on the west side of Madison. Its gotten better over the years, its always a good time though! Last year they had some guys from the Subaru rally team and a trailer with rally car. Trophies are to be hand as well! I will send ya some info about it when he posts it up. February 26, 201511 yr This is the first vehicle that I have seen wheels like this look good on! (you normally see them on some douchebags Tacoma or lifted F150 or something) I have a soft spot for 82's having owned two of them. Neither was this nice of course.
